Gwendolyn Harpas Capitol

Precision. Above all things precision is what Gwendolyn thrives to achieve and uphold in all her work. If anything is just partially off in anything she does it is unacceptable. It is due to this nature that she is one of the very best calculative thinkers in the Capitol and why she resided as one of the chief technological developers until she was twenty two. Why did she leave some may ask, well the answer is simple. Even though she got much spot light from her technological break throughs she desired a larger stage for everyone to see and adore her perfect work. When she was twenty six she got an offer to do just that so she did not hesitate to take it. What the job was to become a game maker in training. 

As usual Gwendolyn exceeded and excelled in her time at the academy and was by far the top of her class. The only portion she lacked was the amount of artistic creativity others had. Besides that she was the perfect specimen. Therefore the Capitol decided to choose a different course for her. They allowed her to graduate the academy early and to become a shadow of a two time past head game maker and current game maker. The one and only Glamour Kinkade, who was bursting with so much creativeness they hoped it would rub off onto her. Little did they know just how much of a pain in the ass he would become to her. 

On Gwendolyn's very first day with her new overseer she discovered him hung over as hell mumbling some pathetic crap about Leon Krigel. She literally spent that entire morning helping him recover from his obviously long night and explaining to him why she was with him. However the image of her caring for him must have never faded in his mind since he still has her running around like a servant with whimsical tasks. If Gwendolyn had the choice she would just leave Glamour's guidance however the Capitol seemed pretty determined that if she wanted to be a game maker some day that she had to stay with him. So even two years later she still serves with him. However he has taught her one valuable lesson over the last 48 months. A game maker must always put on a great show. 

Still she had to admit there was more that she had taught him. Currently she works as an arena design developer. Her main focus is on the actually force field surrounding the arena and various electronics involved with that such as the anthem lighting and necessary speakers. Yet when she isn't working their she is learning all about Glamour's "creativity" while helping him in his current area known as Design and Asthetics.

Now as mentioned prior Gwendolyn is quite the perfectionist. Ever since she was a little girl everything she has done had to be perfect. Not a single decimal point out of place or a nano tron in the wrong parasect by even a millimeter. She has always held herself to the highest standards and if she ever finds herself slipping she restarts are project all together. Due to this she has never made time for love in her life. She finds to many imperfections with it as she calls them and so she doesn't bother with it.

However even though she would never admit it Gwendolyn is often rather lonely. She would even dare to go the distance and say that she enjoys Glamour's company because it was company at all. Ever since she had graduated school she fled her house and has been on her own. She has always believed life alone was much more efficient than with another. Sadly though she has realized the lonely side effects this life style causes. 

Still though even though Gwendolyn doesn't live with someone to gain this trait working with Glamour has allowed her to develop a very important aspect. Sass. The constant sass thrown back and forth between the two over small things has created quite the sassy queen out of Gwendolyn and she often finds herself having to apologize for negligent side comments she makes in public. Often she will blame it on her childhood but she as well as he knows it is Glamour who caused this trait to grow within her. Oh and how she despises how she can tell he is proud of it. 

Yet if you look past her calculated and sassy personality one can see a very plain looking woman. Gwendoyln has always enjoyed the finer things in life such as nice clothing that she always wears and fine wines she always drinks. However unlike many Capitolites she wears no make up and has no tatoos. She views both of those things as flaws to her own natural perfection. However she will admit she is not naturally perfect of course.

Just as every human Gwendolyn has aspects of herself she finds out of place and obvious. The biggest one she would have to say is her amount of grey hairs and wrinkles for a woman of her age. For some unknown reason she has always looked far older than she actually is due to this. However thankfully her well tune figure, blonde locks, and startling blue eyes help her cover her aging details. At least from most people that is.
