The darkness seemed to surround her, cradling her small body as she cried- but no one heard her sobs. No one heard the way she whimpered in the darkness: alone. She wasn't always alone, once the used to be here too. Once mum, was here telling her that it would be okay, comforting her, holding her tightly. Once dad was here, his words caressing her skin, telling her how much they loved her. Once.

The darkness eating away at her-

but then she was their.

Miss Madam was there, pulling the small girl into her arms, the girls skin so dark against miss Madams pale skin. The woman pulled her hair back, running her fingers through the coarse locks. Miss Madam would take care of her now. She would make sure she wouldn't cry no more.

There was just one catch.

One little condition for this woman's love.

She would have to become one of them.

A performer.

So the little girl did. She let Miss Madam take away the pain, in return she became Gypsy, Gypsy The Amazing. A gymnast, her solo routine one of the greatest of the entire show. She became one of them and she never cried again, her brown eyes dry, Miss Madam and the rest of the crew always there to make her smile in the end. They were one big family in the end, family of orphans who travel the district, entertaining- making people laugh.
