Bridget Marie Rose
[/color]...Personal Information...
Age: Sixteen
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
District: District 2, the Masonry District
...Personality & Appearance...
Personality: Bridget is, all in all, a fairly decent person to be around. Despite the stereotypical snootiness of the second District, her parents were also decent people, and wanted their daughter to end up just so. Bridget is polite and courteous, despite her less-known cunning and ambitious side. Just as every girl and boy is trained to do, she wants ever so desperately to be chosen for the Hunger Games. Winning would mean glory and wealth for her parents as well as she - after all, she was an only child - and most of all, her parents' approval. [/p]
But just as everyone, Bridget is plagued by a darker side of herself. Despite her parents' wishes, she is a superb liar, which can get her just about anywhere or with anyone. She is ever so jealous of the people in the Capitol, who always have enough food to eat and water to drink and who live in luxurious ways she can only dream of. She also hates anyone who is better than her with a fiery passion.
In her free time, Bridget enjoys training herself for the Hunger Games. Although there is a somewhat lack of weapons available to her, she trains with a staff fashioned from a tree branch, practicing on whatever she can. Over her years, Bridget has become nearly an expert in the art of "staffing" (I think that's what you call it...) and has never practiced with a blade of any sort.
Fears: Terribly, HORRIBLY afraid of the dark.
General Appearance: Standing at about 5' 7", Bridget has long, dark red hair that falls nearly past her shoulder blades, almost always worn down. Her eyes are a light, subtle green, always alert and calculating. Her fair skin is nearly unblemished except for a small smattering of freckles on her cheeks and arms.
...History...
Bio: Bridget grew up in the lifestyle of District 2 residents; always being trained for the Hunger Games, and earning her keep in the mines. But her parents - Tabitha and Charles Rose - raised her to be a bit more polite than the other children. Despite their efforts, Bridget grew to be an ambitious, cunning, and envious girl, always striving to be better than others and to prove herself worthy of the Hunger Games.
When she turned twelve, she was nearly reeling with excitement at her first reaping. But, as her mother taught her, she should never EVER volunteer for the position as Tribute because it stole another person's chance at victorious glory. So she waited and waited for her name to be drawn. So far, it hasn't been.
