Shayanne is very tall for a 16 year old girl.Her full height reaches a good 5 feet,10 inches.Her body is built in a very athletic fashion,with thin,muscled legs and strong arms.She is rather thin,because her family has always had a bit of trouble feeding themselves.There are,or were four of them,after all.But she is healthy enough and always manages to get by.Her skin is usually a rich tan color caused by the amount of time that she stays outdoors.She is physically tough and can stand hard exercise and work,because she spends most of her day hunting.Her legs are long and graceful,and she tends to move silently and swiftly,out of habit from hunting so much.She is rather pretty,with her tan skin and golden hair that falls down her shoulders in spiraling curls.Her face is refined and angular,with high cheekbones and facial features that are covered in relatively clear skin.Her eyes are large and observant,and the color of emerald green.She doesn't exactly worry too much about what she wears,because she is out hunting almost all day,for most days of the week.But when she does go out,especially in the cold,harsh conditions,she wears her favorite heavier jacket and regular blue jeans,one of her only pairs.As she is hunting,she usually pulls her golden hair back so that she doesn't have to worry about it.She never worries about wearing makeup either,why should she have to?She has only two pairs of shoes,both of which are ragged tennis shoes.One of those pairs are too small for her.So she always wears the same old tennis shoes that were,or had been,a plain white,but are now a crusty brown.

Personality:

Shayanne isn't exactly the type of person who is perfect in personality.Sure,people like her,mostly for her looks,but other then that,there isn't exactly anything that makes her special.She tends to be quiet,and withdrawn,and as she does so,she is a great observer.She loves to just pause and look at the beautiful world around her.You never know how much time you'll have,right?Especially in Panem,being a teenager.When she does speak,she can come off as rude and arrogant,because she speaks with a lot of sarcasm and likes to throw taunts around.But she isn't self-centered,and she does care about other people,even though she hides it.She's just the kind of gal who has experienced a lot of things that toughened her up.It is rare when she actually shows her kindness,and it takes a lot to break her.She's very intelligent,but on the other hand,has trouble hiding her emotions.The thing is,she is very familiar with unhappiness and hate,so that is the reason why she comes off as so hostile at times.

History:

Shayanne was born in District 9,and has lived there ever since.Her family was one of the more poor families,because her mother was,well,just lazy,and her father wasn't too much better.Although he did work a little,every once in a while.But at least they didn't fight too much,at least when she was a child.When she grew older,they had lost a lot of money suddenly,and the arguing started to get much worse.She and her brother had to support the family,hunting every day from dawn until dusk,only stopping to go give their parents some food.Her parents,however,had a terrible relationship,until her father had committed suicide,when Shayanne was only 13.Shayanne and her brother worked hard to feed the family after that.Her brother had taught her everything and made her a very skilled hunter.She can do everything,from using a bow and arrow to throwing knives.But things only got worse after that.Her brother was killed in a hunting accident,only a year ago,when someone else who was hunting made a mistake,thinking that he was an animal.Shayanne is still mourning his loss,but hides everything as she goes through the motions of her daily routines.
