living in undeniable middle class comfort was the cignus family. he was a maintenance man, and she stayed home. they had two daughters and enough to eat. they loved their children evenly, and applauded everything they did. the girls were named were lil and lee. they were long-limbed and pale; lil was serious and lee was not. they fought often, but loved furiously. the fifth district of panem had raised them differently.

she was always passionate and controlling. as a micromanager, it was essential to her sanity to be able to supervise. lil constantly strived to impress her parents, and had a talent for displaying intense focus. she lacked a solid sense of humour, and was very irritable of others around her, particularly lee. she was highly intelligent and perceptive, and had an appreciation for fine details. any further development is open and encouraged.

audacious and lively, she always lacked sincerity and discipline. lee enjoyed adventure and required constant stimulation. she refused to allow lil to command her, and was very inattentive. she had a ceaseless playful disposition, and easily made friends, but felt constrained by a lack of social variability.
