Candida Floe ~ District 7

Appearance:

Candida has wavy copper-red hair. This hair can grow long, but she usually keeps it cut to her shoulders. Her eyes are light brown, and they are bigger. Her skin is a light creamy tone, and she has some freckles on her cheeks. She has relatively straight teeth except for one molar that grew in the wrong way. She has an average smile and lips.

Candida is about 5 feet, 7 inches tall. She is pretty skinny. She's not so skinny that you can see all her bones, but she isn't anywhere near overweight. She has some muscle, which is a result of working with her father and brothers (see bio). Overall, Candida might be thought of as pretty by some, but her looks tend to fade into the background in crowds.    

Personality:

Candida is a straightforward person who will usually tell you what she's thinking. Even if her thoughts are cruel or offensive to herself or others, she will usually still say her thoughts. While it's good that she's truthful, if often means that people don't like being around her, as she reminds her of their flaws. She also is brusque in her speaking. She tends to cut people off during conversations to input her own ideas.

She isn't always the bravest. After an incident with Peacekeepers (see bio), Candida has always been afraid of the Peacekeepers. Capitol citizens also freak her out. She;d rather walk through the forest at night or go into the Hunger Games than spend a week in the Capitol or a day with the Head Peacekeeper of District 7. She also fears spiders and her poor reading skills.     


Candida is pretty amiable when you first meet her, and remains that way if you aren't turned away by her openness of mind. It doesn't really matter how long you know her; she will always give you the same amount of access into her personal thoughts, feelings, her past. Even though she is very open about how she feels, she often hides away her past and her very personal thoughts and feelings, the type one thinks about in the darkest part of the night. She also is very quiet about how she feels romantically about other people.

History:

Candida grew up with both parents and two older brothers. Her mother's name was Rachael Floe (maiden name Yew) who would now be 38. Her father's name is Adrian Floe, and he is 39. Her two older brothers are twins. Their names are Rhett Floe and Ryland Floe, and they are currently 19. 

  Her family were all lumberjacks, except for her mother, who worked in a paper mill. When Candida was twelve, her mother was found sneaking into the Justice Building to remove Candida's name from the Reaping Ball, as her mother was afraid to lose her only daughter. Her mother was hung for treason. This event mentally injured Candida and is partially the reason behind her openness about her sudden thoughts. It also the reason she is deathly afraid of Peacekeepers and Capitol citizens, as both resided at the hanging of her mother.


Since her mother's income was no longer in the family, Candida, age twelve, bordering on thirteen, was forced to start work. She worked at the lumber mill her father and brothers worked at. She was supposed to be working in the main office, sorting papers, but that's not what happen. She was called out into the mill, where she started learning to become a lumberjack. She now has some muscles and good skill with an axe due to her exposure to the lumber mill at an early age.



Candida has had very few friends and only one love interest. She currently only has one friend; Sharon Cypress, age 17, who also works in the lumber mill. She was also once friends with a girl who went to school with her named Ashlee Potter, but Ashlee moved on from Candida soon after the death of Candida's mother. Candida was in a relationship with an older boy, now 19, named Jeremiah Boughs. At the time of the relationship, Jeremiah was 17 and Candida was 15. He worked at the lumber mill and was impressed by her skill with an axe. Candida was star struck by his muscles and his looks. They dated until Candida was 16 and he was 18, at what time Jeremiah broke up with her because he didn't feel it was right to be dating someone two years younger than him. Candida currently has no love interests. 

Other: Code Word: Odair. Also, I'm sorry if I was supposed to write this from her point of view (first person). I will redo if I have to do it from first person. Please tell me if there's anything I need to add, take away, etc. Also not sure if there's more to the code; on other people's I've seen numbers and letters as well as Odair.
