I wish I had known my other brother. I heard he had a boat - that's what Gnioth told me anyway. I like boats and it seems Someith was a sailor, of a kind anyway. Vaguely I remember something about him being on the news. Apparently he was involved in some scandal at a mental institution. No one tells me anything about it, so I guess I'll never know what really happened there. Gnioth got so upset with our parents - he's always been a bit grumpy but he actually screamed at them the other day. I mean, I know my brother is kind of an angry person, still that's a bit much even for him.
Our parents said that I was always up for anything, while Gnioth wanted to do nothing. Gnioth says that, despite our parents never telling us anything, he has tried to learn about Someith. Apparently, our brother was always up to something. I didn't pay enough attention during the Games. Mostly, like every year, I just watch with my eyes glazed over as I wonder about how I would fare in the games, or how Gnioth would. Gnioth would probably survive, even if he is younger than me. I doubt I would do very well. Being up for anything also means I take a lot of risks. They wouldn't pay off, probably, but I still would do them. I like trying things and experiencing them. Privately, I have a goal to try everything at least once.
My brother calls me dim witted, but I don't know if that's actually true. Sure, he's smarter than I am but I'm still two grades above him. Sometimes he acts like he should be the older brother. I am the older brother, though, and he can't take that away from me.
