Romae Belhaven // Capitol [Ratmas CB 1]

Like each of his siblings, Romae has been raised with a golden spoon in his mouth. He turned nine as of the Seventy-Second Games, but you'd never know it. Everyone knows his twin, Mirabilia, turned nine. Last one before double digits. But not Romae. He is a few inches shorter than her and lagging in other ways. His hair is less lustrous, his eyes duller, his reactions more uncoordinated. It's not that he resents Mira. It's not her fault that she was blessed with girl parts. It's not her fault that he was cursed with boy ones.

That's just the world they live in, the one with the belhaven curse.

It's not all bad, being Mira's twin. She can get away with anything, and Romae needs saving more often than not. He never means to get into trouble, but who could pass up scaling that two-story wall or climbing onto the roof during a full moon. Mira may have gotten most everything in the looks department, but Romae got a sense of adventure and a funny bone.
