Despite the long shifts and constant struggles to survive, Kingsley is perceived quite content or possibly just aloof, a trait that is very unpopular among many of his friends and family. Tends to keep to himself often, however his curious spirit often finds himself enjoying the company of those with something interesting to share.

Kingsley is the 2nd oldest of 3 brothers. He began work in the corn fields in the northern region of district 11 along with his older brother, mother and father. His closest friend and mentor is his grandfather who repairs harvest equipment and carts that move the food, gran and other supplies to the capital.
