So how do the rps work, like if you wanted to say join a rp in the streets of the district how would you do that? How would you know when it was your turn? How are the moderated?

Also how do you know how much money you have?

I'm sure you're going to have a great time on the site. To answer your questions, i'll give you a general run down of how our roleplays, or "threads", tend to work.

Normally, threads are planned out in advance between two or more members, though the amount of people in a thread is technically unlimited. Normally, you do not join another person's threads while they are RPing. However, if approval is given by that person, or if the thread is marked as "open" you should be okay ^^

If you are threading with one other person, you usually go every other turn. Meaning, you would go, then your partner, then you, etc. etc. With group threads this can be different, though rules vary from thread to thread. Many threads are not moderated and are up to you and whomever you are threading with to decide on what happens. However, it should be noted that there are rules when posting. Those can be found here

Posting in most areas of the site earns you 5 dollars. The amount of money you have can be seen on your profile on the desktop version, underneath your profile picture.

Hi there Oliver ^^ My name is Kire and I'm one of the veteran members on the site.

In answer to your questions:
1. To start off with, you need to create a character. This can be done in the board labelled "Character Creation" [ link here ] There are some helpful guides to aid you in doing that [ generic template & short guide ]
2. Once your character has been accepted by a staff member, you can then post in the thread. The minimum posting length on the site is 1 paragraph (roughly 5-10 sentences or 100 words). All posts within the district boards are to be IC, for OOC posts that belongs in the District Square under the General category. Chatting can be done in the cbox or on the site Slack group [ info here ].
3. Turns are dictated by the people posting. Generally, threads involve two people. As such, you and the other person alternate posting in the thread in an action-and-response pattern.
4. Threads aren't directly moderated, but staff members may peruse them from time to time. All decisions about how the thread goes is left to the people involved (there are no narrators or DMs).
5. Money is displayed in the mini profile beside your post. For example, beside your post it says:
Money: $0
Posts: 3
Member is Online
The amount of money you have will go up with the number of posts you make. Certain boards don't award money for posting, but in those that do each post will net you $5.
