Tobias, I miss you, my brother.

Tears run down the side of my face as I stare at the blank white wall next to my bed. It's so strange being here. Having so much comfort when in just a few short days my life will be tossed into complete chaos. Comfort doesn't exist in the arena, yet the Capitol is amazing. It's beyond anything I've ever seen before, and I wish Tobias was here to explore it with me, but he's trapped at home awaiting the unknown future. Everyone is, and hopefully Ikaia is holding strong now. Hopefully he's keeping the promise he made, and I really hope he's trying to help Tobias right now because he's definitely going to need it.

Sighing to myself, I throw my feet off the edge of the bed placing myself in a seated position. Time isn't on my side, and every second spent away from training is only going to hinder me, but right now I just want to be left alone. Katelyn always talks about spending time at the survival stations. Plants. First aid. Fire making. Traps. Things like that, and Kirito wants me to focus. But Harbinger hasn't told me anything, and maybe hearing from him can help me, or perhaps it'll hurt me too. I remember watching him drink something on the train here, and I don't think it was water or some flavored juice although it's simple to push out of my mind.

Wrapping my hands around the wooden spoons I carved with Tobias, I lower myself off the bed before heading out into the district area. Part of me had hoped everyone would be sitting at a table eating dinner together as a district, but I don't see anyone. A soft sigh escapes my lips as I head down the corridor looking from door to door trying to figure out how to tell all the rooms apart. Shrugging my shoulders, I take a guess at the door I'm about to knock on. Hopefully it's Harbinger's and not someone else's, but time will only tell. Three quiet taps against the door causes me to lower my hand to my side before willing myself to speak. "Harbinger? Are you in there?"
