Andesite Obsidian 411 Words OOC Notes: Excuse the short starter post, please! | Today was another day at the training center. Andesite was enjoying himself, as he had the other days, simply learning new skills or practicing ones he already knew, such as self defense. He was doing a rather good job with these things, and had finally determined that he should treat himself to a short break. Having wandered around the training center for a bit, Andy observed other tributes. He noticed some at the blades, or others practicing with ranged weapons. Some of them were working on their fire making skills or figuring out how to make their own (rather crude looking) weapons. It could be told that some of the tributes were surely doing a better job than the others. If Andy were to say so himself, he would have said he was doing a rather good job when it came to doing his own training. The young career boy spotted a few tributes that he knew by name, such as Lemon and Carrita, as well as many that he only knew their district, like the boy from nine. Some tributes that he saw, he wouldn't be able to tell you their name or district. There was then someone that he spotted who he knew to be around his own age. He couldn't remember exactly which district she was from, but he knew that her name was Cecilia Brontz. He had watched her reaping, although he didn't really remember much about her from it. Andesite had also never spoken to her, so he wasn't sure how well things would go over if he did. Though, Andy, being the over confident person that he was, approached Cecilia anyway. He hadn't really gotten too good of a look at her face before then, but now he could see that she was rather cute. Oh my Ripred, she's cuter than I thought! was the thought that popped into his head almost immediately after he saw her directly. He then spoke up, not sure if she had noticed him initially or not. Although, it was quite likely she had, as he had almost been standing right beside her before stepped to more directly face her when he was to speak. "Hey, Cecilia, right?" he asked her. Of course, he knew her name, but he wanted some way of starting the conversation. He gave a bit of a polite smirk, almost as if he were trying to be flirtatious, which in a way, he certainly could have been doing just that. |
