The Jain Family
What do you do in a family where perfection is the ultimate goal? What do you do in a family where the kids are objects and not living beings? What do you do when your parents expect you not feel a thing? This is the everyday life of the three Jain children. Raised from the start to be the perfect children, take on the gender roles their parents expect of them and to never question a thing. A family that does not appreciate outsiders. Kids brainwashed that they don’t notice their deadbeat alcoholic father. A mother who doesn’t know how to protect her kids, and plays the game. They live in a dollhouse; the kids are the parent’s dolls.
The game is simple; it is their way of life. The girls cook and the boys work. Never come home late. You only achieved perfection, when you managed to block out all human emotions. Pain is irrelevant. These are the rules, play by them and you survive. If you don’t, you get punished. How long till the kids loose every strain of sanity they have?

Jonathan Jain-46-male-fc-open: The father of the family. He had the idea when his first son was born that he needed the perfect family. The idea ended up getting the best of him and he resulted in taking extreme measures to ensure he was the one pulling the strings in the family. Having a childhood, where his parents were always working, and didn’t have much time for him or his siblings, he didn’t want that for his kids. He had good intentions at the beginning, but after the drinking started his good intentions turned brutal and over the top.
Miranda Jain-48-female-fc-open: At the beginning she couldn’t agree more with her husband’s plan for the perfect family. She had high beliefs that the kids should be raised in a household where the parents were respected and always had time for their kids. Once she found out about her husband’s new rules and punishment form, she became scared of him and what he had become. All she ever wanted was for her kids to grow up with loving kind parents. Now, she watches every day in fear how her kids are changing.
Scandal Jain-18-male-fc-open: The oldest of the three, barley has any memories of what life was before their father started abusing them. He seemed to be the one that was able to follow the path his father had chosen for the kids the easiest. He became very fond of the rules, and never questioned much. He is very distant from his siblings and looks at them as someone who just happens to exist in the same house. He only acknowledges them when necessary, and like his father, believes that men are superior to women.
Rumour Jain-16-Female-Emma Greenwell-Opal-bio: The middle child, has her mind set on pleasing her family. As a kid she thought the game was rather fun. The way her mother would do her hair in the morning and choose her outfits. As she grew she got tired of never being able to make her own decisions. Every time she would step out of line, her father would hit her and even cut her with a knife. Eventually she just stopped caring about everything and tried her best to be numb and act as if she didn’t have feelings, to be a perfect doll. Though a day doesn’t go by where she doesn’t have her doubts about the family.
Gossip Jain-13-Female-fc-open: The youngest of the group, and the only child that seems to possess a free will. She rather takes the beatings instead of just coward to her father’s game. To prove a point, she would often disappear for day at a time or dye her hair. Though on some rare occasions she will abide the rules and play the game. She would help around the house, but would only do so because she can tell how her mother worries. She has an ill-temper and has accused her siblings and mother on multiple occasions of being a wimp.

So now to a few OOC notes.
This plot was going to be based of Melanie Martinez's Dollhouse. Then it ended up becoming a whole lot diffrent. There are still a few components from the song, if you would like to check that out. Though it really did end up turning a whole lot diffrent. It also contains elements from the song Sippy Cup also by Melanie Martinez.
For the fc, I would like to have them all have dark eyes and dark hair (with exception of Gossip).
If enough people show interest in the plot, I will allow cousins and other relatives.
