I pull myself up on the island, I'm soaking wet and I have several wounds that I know I'll have to care for. I never did get a weapon but I did get a raft which will be vital for travel. This was the only item I left the bloodbath with. I'm low on resources and I'll have to find water and food soon. I can go longer without food so I decide to make mater my second priority, my first priority will be to tend to my wounds. I know some plants that will help to heal my wound faster. I'd need to search hard because this island just seems to be a rocky beach. I do know of one plant that sometimes grows under rocks that helps to speed up the healing. I've recieved a shallow cut on my back and 2 shallow cuts on my cheek. I see a bit of moss on one of the rocks and wipe away the blood from my face. my back is still bleeding a bit, so I wrap it in the moss and continue my search. While I'm looking I also search for any signs of water. I only wish I had something to purify it with if I can find any, I do however know how to make a fire, maybe I won't need to purify it. It takes me hours and I know I've probably pushed myself a bit too far, but I finally find the plant I've been looking for, it's such a small amount though, it will barely be enough to help my cheek. I quickly crumble it in my hand and wet it with some sea water. I apply it to my face and secure it there with more moss. I've been traveling down hill but in the distance I see a cave and I don't dare go near it. I saw another pack of tributes head here while i was at the bloodbath. I keep going for another few minutes, looking for water, that I don't find. Maybe I should sprint up the hill a bit to find water, although I doubt there's a large source. And I 'm right. As I'm running i almost miss a small puddle of water, it may not be much but it may be the only source on this island. I only wish i had something to carry it in. Maybe I could weave leaves together, or carve a rock? I start looking for rocks with a small hole or even a rock with a sharp point. I do find one with a sort of sharp point and get to work on a slightly small rock. Even though I'm hitting it with all my strength, it only makes a small dent. I can't give up so I keep pounding away, I might have more luck with tying plants up. I have had to tye things so that blood wouldn't seep through, maybe I could do the same for water, I get to work gathering up every kind of plant I can, but first checking to make sure they aren't poisunus. Most are just leaves, and other harmless and useless plants. I see the sun begin to sink in the sky and know if I don't hurry I may not have water tonight. It's almost nightfall when I finish, it may be risky to start a fire here. I don't want to take a chance so I fill up my container which actually works pretty well, surprisingly, I guess medicene and first aid are helpful. I quickly run, while being careful not to spill, back to the part of the beach where I first entered. I doubt that the other tributes are around me but I do a quick survey of the area before I begin, and it takes quite a while but I'm able to get a small fire going, that's when I realize, how can I cook the water? The leaves will burn and the water will be gone. I sit back on my feet, I have to think of something fast. ROCKS! I can heat rocks in the fire then put the leaves on that. I begin one by one and slowly I'm able to get the water boiling. When I feel it's safe to drink, I take a shaky sip, then another and then 3 more. I'll leave the little bit that's left for tomorrow. I use the ocean to extinguish the fire and destroy all the remains of it. Then I quickly get away and decide to rest here. Of course I'm not going to rest though. I can't, I'll need to doit tomorrow when I'm on a different island, or maybe I could just grab a rock and sleep a bit with the rock in my hand? I'm a pretty light sleeper, and I'll sleep behind a rock. I settle myself in a pretty comfortable manner just before the anthem begins. I lean back, and ready myself to watch todays dead tributes appear in the sky, if there are any....
