Thalassa Amaterasu || District 4 [Fin]

Standing at 5"7', Thalassa is taller than a few other kids her age - and is still growing. Despite being tall, she's underweight at 150 lbs. Luckily, it doesn't show as her body shape is one of those where it doesn't show her gaining weight. Her hair is light brown, curly and mid to long in length. While she tries to look after it, she finds herself having trouble most of the time so it often has knots.

Thalassa's eyes are a light green color - but not a particularly pretty green color. Her eyes are a pale light green and make her seem like she is looking miles away when she's really paying perfect attention. The fifteen year old has a tan and doesn't mind saying that she has one - it came from her hanging around the ocean after all.

An enthusiastic but dense girl, Thalassa doesn't notice many things but is encouraging to everyone. She has no problem in cheering everyone on without choosing sides - in fact, she prefers it like that. Quite often she'll participate in competitions and end up cheering on her competition as well as playing to win - It can annoy the people around her, as she is also oblivious to any form of competitive vibe. Thalassa still isn't quite sure how the Hunger Games work but is still afraid of being chosen.

However, Thalassa has an anger problem. If she's aggravated enough, she just cracks it and starts yelling at everything about absolutely anything - things that annoy her, things that hurt her - anything. The only way for her to calm down is for her to go out and watch the sea for a while since it has a calming effect on her.

Additionally, Thalassa is stubborn and doesn't change her decisions for anyone. However difficult any task, she will push through and try to breech every limit she has in order to achieve what she's gone out to do. Combined with her anger, this becomes a dangerous trait since she doesn't let anyone beat her - even of she does encourage everyone else along the way. She's a sore loser.

Having a younger brother, Thalassa can't remember a time when she hadn't been with him. Since their father was a fisherman, the two of them spent a lot of time out at sea. In fact, from a young age the two of them had been working together to catch fish in their own boat - although it didn't go very far out. Thalassa loved it so much that she'd always complain when it was time to go home and it was her brother that always convinced her to bring the boat back to shore.

At school, Thalassa was one of the kids who everyone was always afraid of. This was because she always cracked it and yelled at everyone - it wasn't the best reputation to have in the world. In fact, it lead to her feeling isolated in school. Usually, she never paid attention in class and was always feeling sorry for herself - leading to plenty of punishments. She was never phased by the punishments and continued phasing out.

As she grew older, she noticed more and more changes in her little brother. Thalassa saw him drift further and further away from her as he grew older. He stopped coming on fishing trips and spent more time at school than anywhere else. More than anything, that cause Thalassa to crack more often and it changed her. She stopped being sociable and went out to sea more - not coming back until late in the day. This continues to this day, although she's getting more sociable by the day.
