Lorenza, going by 'Za-Za' for most of her life, has very dark hair that appears to be a deep black. Her eyes are such a dark brown that they appear to be almost the same color. Her clothing choice generally appears to make a statement, as she expresses herself rather well through it. Dark clothing is generally her choice, and she likes to wear hats or beanies as well. Za-Za's hair is also rather wavy, and she rarely straightens it. Her way of 'taming' it is by putting it up in something like a high ponytail. When she does straighten her hair on occasion, people tend to notice, as it makes her appearance quite a bit different.

Having always been part of a rather wealthy family, her family is able to afford nice clothing, jewelry and makeup for her. She appreciates these things, and wears them very often, although, she doesn't think they are important. Very confident in her appearance, Za-Za dresses to impress, and thinks she looks well doing so. She sees herself as pretty, but isn't rude about it, and won't put others down openly if she doesn't think they look as good as her. Holding herself confidently, she sometimes seems intimidating to others because of her beauty. She has a small birthmark under her right eye, which, despite not liking the look of it, decides not to hide it. She is rather tall and holds herself with confidence. Having a nice body shape as well, many people seem to find her attractive.

If anything, it's Za-Za's personality that truly stands out about her. She's one who loves to party and have fun. Often, she can be found drinking alcohol if she somehow managed to get her hands on it. Very convincing with what she says, her ability to persuade people to do what she wants often comes in handy. Luckily, she isn't one to normally do too many things that she's not supposed to, aside from obtaining the alcohol. Not really a fighter, Za-Za is more of someone to argue, rather than get physical. Unfortunately, this arguing happens a lot, as she always feels that she's right and needs to make her point. She never sees what she's doing as wrong, and gets angry if someone tells her she shouldn't do something.

Not really one to get along with her family, she's rather separated from them. Za-Za isn't very fond of her family, and therefore just surrounds herself with friends as much as she possibly can. She loves to have fun, and will chat with just about anyone, as she's extremely social, and can even be quite successfully flirty sometimes. The girl is out of the house and hanging around with friends as much as she possibly can be, since she doesn't like to be around her parents or siblings. When it comes to friends or a relationship, however, Za-Za is very committed. She will support her friends when they need it, and is very devoted to them. The same goes for anyone she may be in a relationship with.

Of course, everyone has a good amount of flaws. When it comes to Za-Za, she is very sensitive, and is upset very easily. If someone is to say something about her or one of her friends, she is likely to break down or act out, crying or yelling at the person that upset her. As someone that gets upset easily, she also is someone who will lock herself away from people when she is upset sometimes. Sitting in her room for hours at a time, she will read or do something else to distract herself until she feels better. Her family, however, doesn't seem to notice, or at least does not show concern when she does this, which often upsets her more. The only people who seem to notice are her friends.

Lorenza has been going by Za-Za most of her life. Despite not always getting along with her family, she still loves them and lives with them. She often feels unnoticed by them; especially her parents. Living with her two younger brothers and both of her parents, she still is protective of them, even if they often all seem to hate each other. Her brothers are named Angelo and Benito (who goes by Ben), and are aged fourteen and sixteen.

Za-Za has always had a large group of friends. She loves to socialize, but doesn't always get the chance to. When she is away from friends, she enjoys things like reading and sketching. She also loves to sing, but rarely shares this with anyone. Her long-time friend, Luanna, has been by her side through Za-Za's tough times, and has always supported her, too.* Whenever Za-Za gets upset, she's not afraid to share this with Luanna. Their friendship has lasted since they were children.

Never has Za-Za really had an opinion of the Hunger Games. She watches every year, as she is required to, but doesn't think much of it, as she believes that neither she nor anyone she knows will ever be chosen to fight in the games. She has never known anyone that has been in them, and hopes to keep it that way. The closest that Lorenza has known to someone who had to fight in the games was not even related to the games. One of Lorenza's friends from when she was younger was shot by a PeaceKeeper. This was an accident, but Za-Za has loathed PeaceKeepers since then, and always tries her best to avoid them.
