R E I G N. based off the cw's tv show, reign. located in district seven. the illegal firearms dealers, the bootleggers, and the pagans. by я𝑜𝓈𝑒 and gamemaker sloane ♕ kaяi ♕ . | In District Seven, a war rages. A religious cult very loosely based off of Paganism has risen into popularity. They are a group who kidnaps people from their homes and bleeds them out in the deep woods, sacrificing them for their god, the Darkness. Their attention has now moved to a group of people they view as a threat: the bootleggers, a business that sells alcohol on the black market. It was started by one family, the Bellavances, and has grown into a corrupt and powerful gang that has sprawled across the district. The cultists, or heretics, as the bootleggers prefer to call them, believe that alcohol is poison, that it is unpure, and that the bootleggers are poisoning District Seven and angering the Darkness. Certain healers of theirs claim that they have foreseen that if the bootleggers do not stop, District Seven will come crumbling to the ground against the corruption and poison. This conflict between the cultists and the bootleggers has been dragging out for generations, as long as the cult has existed, and is now reaching its breaking point. Some of the bootleggers have gone missing, and the Bellavances have grown to suspect the cult. Another family, the Nobles, who sells firearms, has immensely grown in power over the past few years. Though they are newer to the scene and have a smaller business, they have managed to catch the attention of the Bellavances. An alliance has formed between the two families. To gain power and control, the two wealthy families have arranged for the heirs, Mary and Francis, to be married, in order to join the two businesses together. This has made both the Bellavances and the Nobles targets of the cultists, but they stand tall together, ready to take on the threat. Trouble has never stirred more furiously than before. |
