◀ It had been a rough past few days for Jasmine. It had been a while since she had seen her boyfriend, as well as her best friend, Thyme. She felt like breaking down when she heard some recent news. Apparently, one of her cousins had passed away, of whom she was very close to before. Her cousin had gotten sick to the point where there was no way he would have survived, at least with the medication available in District Twelve. Jasmine wished she could have been there for him. Hopefully, today would be a much better day for her. Ahead of time, Jasmine and Thyme had planned to meet up and hang out. They were going to meet up near the District Square, and then perhaps go for a walk around the District. It was still cold out, but not as bad as it had been recently. Therefore, she wasn't going to wear a coat. Though, she would still dress somewhat warmly. Normally, Jasmine wasn't one to get cold, so even if she didn't dress warmly, she would surely be fine. Her parents wouldn't be happy if she went out in shorts and a t-shirt in this weather, though, and she needed to listen to them. Slipping on a pair of boots, Jasmine headed out the door, closing it behind her. Her family knew where she was going, so she didn't bother telling them for a second time. As she walked, she kept an eye out for Thyme, just in case she was walking to there meeting spot at the same time. If she happened to see her, then they would just meet up there. Though, when Jasmine was walking, she didn't see anyone that she recognized, and continued to make her way to the District Square. When she arrived there, she decided she may as well wait for Thyme, since she didn't see her there yet. Perhaps she was there, and Jasmine just didn't notice. After all, she wasn't always the most observant human being in the District. |
