Appearance: Malencia has distinct facial features, such as long hair (not really facial but it is on the head). She doesn't like her hair in her face, so she puts it into a bun most of the time. Her hair is a light blonde, but gets darker as it gets longer. She has a small amount of freckles on her face, but it never really shows up much. She has light blue eyes that look like pools of water. Her eyelashes are thick, but not too long.
Malencia wears casual clothes most of the time: a tee shirt and sweat pants. She does not like to wear anything that is uncomfortable. If she wears dresses (which is rare), they would be about knee length, so she can properly move around. She normally wears tennis shoes, but if she is dressing up, she will wear flats.
Personality: Malencia has three unique personalities: Kindness, rebelliousness, and shyness.
Malencia has always had a soft spot to all people. She's never really hated
History: She liked the Hunger Games when she was little (mainly since everyone else did, as a child, she did what older people did to act older), but that is when she did not know what they were about. She didn't know the pain caused. She watched people get slaughtered and brutally killed when she was older and realized that that the Hunger Games were wrong. She heard the cries of the mothers and fathers, the pain of the friends, and the heartbroken siblings. She discovered what it meant to die for a cause, but the Hunger Games never had a cause. Or at least a good one. All the causes that they had for excuses never helped. Of course, people got scared, but they also then wanted to change. Malencia wanted that change, but was never brave enough. She would do something to stop the Hunger Games, but doesn't have the power or courage to do so.
In her District (2), she never really belonged. Nobody really was her friend. Except her sister and brothers. One of her brothers in particular. His name is Thomas. He always supported Malencia, and her beliefs. Even though he is being trained as a peacekeeper, he has always had a soft side. He cares for others, especially his family and friends. Malencia's other top supporter is her sister, a year older than her. Her name is Pheobe. She isn't really the softest one, but she believes in following dreams. Pheobe is one of those careers. She trains with knives and bows. She doesn't particularity like the thought of killing, but she will do what needs to be done, without hesitation.
Her family isn't really the wealthiest. Being the youngest of five siblings, you have many responsibilities. Her two of her brothers and her sister have moved out of the house, which means there is only her mom, her dad, her brother (Alex) and her dog (Lady). She has to do most of the cleaning in her house, because of her mothers ill condition. Her brother doesn't do much around the house, other than being trained to be a peacekeeper. Her mother wants her to be a polite lady, and a career at the same time. She has always been a bit rebellious.
