APPEARANCE
'Dress to impress' isn't exactly the standard that Sycamore goes by when choosing what to wear on a daily basis. As more of a 'comfort and functionality' sort of guy, he cares more about what he can get done comfortably and effectively in what he's wearing, such as running and sports. His clothing almost never consists of a pair of jeans. He'll often be seen with loose fitting trousers or a pair of shorts, as well as a t-shirt, and when it's colder outside, perhaps a sweatshirt. His outfits are very simple on a day-to-day basis, although, he does have nicer clothes that he can dress up in when necessary, such as for the reaping.
Sycamore's face has a softened appearance to it, and seems to have a rather kind look to him. His eyes are a dark brown with his hair even darker, appearing even to be black to some who may see it. He's not the tallest person in the family, though he does surpass his sister, Thyme, as well as his mother in height. The boy is fairly skinny, and doesn't appear nearly as strong as he actually is. He's quick and agile, and would likely be able to get out of more situations that someone who wasn't.
As someone who likes to run, Sycamore has built up some leg strength, even if it's not entirely noticeable. He has great endurance when running, and can keep going for quite a while. It's true, however, that because of all of the running he often has blisters on his feet, and is almost always sunburned. He even has some scars from sunburns that have blistered and peeled away.
PERSONALITY
A good sense of humor and a kind heart are two fantastic ways to describe Sycamore when it comes to his personality. He loves to make people laugh, and will crack jokes whenever he gets the chance. He cares a lot for others, particularly his family and his girlfriend. Part of the reason that his girlfriend, Jasmine Link, was drawn to him, was because of his personality. More specifically, she seemed to quite like his sense of humor. She was able to think of him as a bit of an entertainer when things were rough, and this would make her smile. Sycamore loves being able to brighten people's days with his personality.
Sycamore is still relatively new to the whole idea of romance. He has been dating Jasmine for quite some time, and they have moved very slowly with it. It took him a while to be ready to hold hands with her in public, and much longer to get to a kiss, as he's a bit shy when it comes to romance. He is, however, very happy with how things are going. One thing that he truly fears, however, is that one or both of them may be picked for the Hunger Games, or perhaps he and his sister. He doesn't really know how he would cope with being in the Games if he were picked, as it's absolutely terrifying to him.
A great problem solver, Sycamore is good at puzzles of any sort. He likes figuring out riddles or things that are meant to trick the mind. Although, he gets rather frustrated with himself if he can't figure something out right away. Very easily irritated when it comes to not being able to accomplish something he will often take it out on himself or others. Even though it's not too common for him to yell, one should not be surprised if he goes into strings of swearing when he's rather infuriated with something.
HISTORY
The young Bluebell boy grew up with his sister, Thyme Bluebell and his parents, Joy and Jonathan Bluebell. It's true, however, that he either spent more of his time when he was younger by himself or with just his parents, as his sister was more of the one to be out and about with the neighbor boys. Sycamore made a few friends when he was younger, and a few have stuck with him, but not many. This is why he now spends much more time with his sister than he used to. He joins her when she decides to adventure off and do something.
He also likes to spend a lot of time with his girlfriend, Jasmine Link. They've gotten along significantly well ever since they first met one another. There have never been any problems between Sycamore and Jasmine, luckily. Most, if any arguments that come along are either between he and his friends from school, or he and his parents or sister. Occasionally he will invite one of them over to the house and they'll find some way to entertain themselves. Sometimes, though, Sycamore will like to be on his own and go for a run.
