Leah-Cassandra Bellami
It wasn't unusual at all to see Leah-Cassandra out on the farm, riding her favorite horse. Apple was the horse's name, and Apple was quite the beautiful horse. Her mane a tail were both a dark, silky black, and the rest of her fur was a black not quite as dark. A beautiful, fit and toned horse, she got ridden quite a lot throughout her young life. Leah-Cassandra usually was able to keep rather good control of the horse as well. At least, that's how it normally was.
Today was an exception to Apple's usual calm self. Ominous looking, gray storm clouds had begun rolling in, and there was no doubt to the horse or the girl that there was soon to be rain. The sky began to darken more, and Leah-Cassandra knew she should bring the horse back to the stable where it could relax and neither of them would end up caught out in the rain. Suddenly, however, a blinding flash of lightning lit up the sky, followed by the cymbal crash sound of thunder. Luckily, Leah-Cassandra was holding the reins of the horse tightly, for Apple had become very frightened.
The horse reared up onto just its hind legs and let out a scared whinnying sound.
"Woah there, Apple! Calm down, girl!" Leah-Cassandra tried to soothe the horse. At that time, rain had begun pouring down rather hard, and Apple, with the girl still on her back, began to rush in a direction away from their farm. Holding on for dear life to the slick reins, Leah-Cassandra feared that she wouldn't be able to stay on the horse much longer.
Apple was certainly not a happy horse, and had run to a place that Leah-Cassandra didn't recognize. It was someone else's farm, and they weren't supposed to be there. Of course, this was nothing that the girl could control. The horse only slowed down slightly as the rain began to calm down, but at this point, reared up on her hind legs once more, this time throwing off her passenger. Leah-Cassandra hit the ground rather hard, her head bouncing once when it hit, immediately knocking out the young girl. That point was when the horse showed concern, and calmed down, no longer as spooked, but more so concerned that it had thrown its closest human friend through the air. Now, the young girl lie unconscious, out in the rain, on a stranger's farm, with only a horse to try to help her.
