Gabrielle has sun bleached hair that she usually cuts to shoulder length, hazel eyes, and soft pink lips. She's about 5'3, so kinda short, but she doesn't mind. People usually think she's cute and cuddly, which she generally is.
She has a dark farmers tan, which means her tan lines are awful. When she's working, she tries to get away with as little clothing as possible.
She has a kind, round face, with baby-fat cheeks, and smile lines around her eyes.
While she's relatively fit, she, like the rest of 11, is undernourished. Being relatively small all of her life, she's done a lot of tree work, which kept her pretty fit. Eventually, she did get to big to work the trees anymore. She was moved to working fields with her brothers.
She's got muscle (especially in her arms and legs), and almost no fat. You can see her ribs when she's not wearing a shirt.
She has scars from multiple tracker-jacker stings, along her arms and legs. She also has scars along her back, where she fell from a tree when she was younger. She was punished for falling (which gives her nightmares, as well and kept her in line forever) as well, and has whip-lashes here and there.
Personality:
Generally pretty happy and loving. She's really nice, even if she doesn't like you. If she doesn't like you, you know you're a shitty person, Because she likes everyone. She laughs a lot, which is rare in 11, and everyone loves to be around her because she brightens people's day.
She would give the clothes off her back, if she happens to be wearing any at the time, to someone in need. She often gives the little food she has away, usually to the very young or very old. She doesn't generally have many enemies, but even if she did, she would give them whatever she could if they needed it. Although she has no amount of love for the capital, she's alway congenial to peacekeepers, only a couple of which return.
She loves her family more than anything, and when she's not working, is often with them. Her sister Lilla, who is a few years younger than her, is her best friend in the world. In their small house, the two of them share a room, and can often be found gossiping about anything and everything.
Although she's always smiling, she isn't always happy. Her motto is to just keep smiling, no matter what. She only tells her sister about her nightmares, which include her whippings, and other cruel forms of punishment by the
peacekeeper
. She also dreams of her grandmother a lot, who she was close to. Although she doesn't count these dreams as nightmares, she wakes up sad, even if it was a happy dream, because she knows she wont see her grandmother again.
She loves to tell stories. She spends a lot of her time just making them up, to escape her reality. She tells the to herself when she works, and to her friends in their time off.

, she has 2 older brothers and her younger sister. Both of her grandparents (from both sides) lived with them as well, until they passed away. She was close to her grandmother Roseanne (on her mother's side), who passed away of old age when she was 14.
There aren't many rich in 11, but Gabrielle's family is thankful that they're not at the absolute bottom. Her father makes clothes and shoes for the workers, and her mother is among those responsible for keeping the workers from dropping dead. Her brother Paul will probably follow after his mother, and Lilla their father. Gabrielle will probably just work the fields for the rest of her life. She's content working the fields, though she's often in pain.
In school, which lets out during important planting and harvesting times, she has a lot of friends. Everybody loves to sit and listen to her tell stories. Her favorites are about magical creatures, like dragons and elves. Everyone who listens feels like they can escape their hardships, if only for a moment. The peacekeepers don't like when she tells stories, saying she will put fantastical notions into the heads of the people, so she can't tell them when they're around.
Her journal is full of them. Compared to most, she's had a good life. As for romance, she's in love with her best friend. She met Lucy when she was 5. They have been in school together for their entire lives. Lucy has long, black hair and means the world to Gabrielle, but Gabrielle has never told Lucy how she feels. She doubts that Lucy feels the same way, or anything more than a friend.
