SPEAR JINX
District Four
It was a struggle that Spear had been dealing with for a long time, and it was a big part of his life that he couldn't just ignore, especially not at this point, with what was going on. Spear's sexuality was no question to him by the time he was thirteen, but he had been hiding the fact that he was gay from his family and friends for those two years since. Now, however, he knew he had to say something to someone. It could have been anyone, but he wasn't sure if his family was the right place to start.
Now that Spear had a boyfriend, it would be extremely difficult for him to hide his sexuality from others. If he wanted to walk down the street holding hands with Climax, it would make it too obvious to everyone who saw. He couldn't invite him over to the house it they were going to show any affection, as Spear knew that that would immediately let his secret out. They would have to keep their relationship hidden if he didn't tell anyone. The issue was, however, that he didn't want it to be secret, nor did he want to reveal that part of his true self to anyone.
Undoubtedly, one of his nine siblings would find out at some point, but he wasn't ready to share it with them. He didn't want to share it with his parents, either, and at this point, the dilemma was becoming a bit too difficult to deal with. Yes, he had only been with Climax for a short amount of time, but he already really cared about him and didn't want to not be able to show that to him when he was so nervous to tell his family. Even though Charm and some of his other sibling had come out as bisexual, he was almost certain at this point that none had come out as completely homosexual.
This would mean Spear was different in a way that he wasn't entirely fond of. He already felt like the odd one out in the family, but didn't want to enforce that fact onto himself and others, making it more obvious it was different. It was an internal struggle, whether or not to tell anyone outside of his own boyfriend that he was gay.
Spear spent that night in his room, pondering what to do for most of the time that he was in there. He didn't know what to say, and eventually fell asleep while thinking on it.
When he awoke in the morning, Spear lied in bed for a while, not wanting to get up, as he was already thinking about the conflict he was facing. Lying there for about twenty minutes to a half an hour, the blonde boy eventually rose form his bed and headed downstairs to where his family was. Who he did he trust the most that he could tell? It had to be one of his younger siblings, or perhaps his parents, for he assumed that the older children of the Jinx family may use it as a way to tease him if they got the chance.
Eventually, the decision was made. When he was alone with his parents, he had decided to tell them. They were very accepting about it, and it didn't seem to faze them in the least, and Spear felt good. That is, until he noticed one of his siblings lurking at the door. He didn't catch who it was, as they ran as soon as he saw them. Tears started to form in his eyes, realizing that one of his siblings that he didn't mean to tell had just found out his secrets. Even worse was that he didn't know which of his nine siblings it was...
