Name: Jane Laurent
Age: 19
Gender: Female
District/Area: Capitol
Appearance: Her hair is a tea-green, and she keeps parts pinned up and parts straightened, an elaborate design that is fixed by her hairdresser. She is 5’6, and her skin is dyed gray-ivory. She has thin eyebrows and thin pink lips. She has muscles and calluses from training in combat, but other than that, she keeps herself in clean, immaculate condition, like a china doll kept locked in a closet. She has blue-ish purple eyes with heavy eyelids, and her hair is naturally straight. Whenever she’s out in public, she wears fancy dresses and gaudy jewelry, always the latest fashions. During combat lessons, she’ll wear casual clothing, still in the form of a dress, in more subdued tones of gray and brown.
Personality: Jane is your typical spoiled brat. She sees people from the Districts, especially the Lower Districts, as a primitive, dirty race separate from her own. This is because she follows her parents’ political views completely. However, she’s more dangerous than most people think when they first see her. She’s incredibly loyal to the Capitol, and she thoroughly enjoys a good fight and loves watching the Hunger Games. She’s competitive, and she never backs down from a challenge because of her stubborn personality. Her father will do almost anything to please her. A side of her feels lonely and abandoned, because even though her parents buy her whatever she wants, they never spend any time with her. This fuels her hateful attitude.
History: Jane has spent her whole life in the Capitol, and for the most part she enjoys it immensely. Her parents are extremely wealthy, and she spends her time as a young socialite. She has convinced her father to hire someone to teach her hand-to-hand combat skills, under the cover that ‘she’ll be able to protect herself’. In reality, she thinks it might come in handy in the future. She plans to become more influential than her parents were. She has friends, but none of them really like her, and none of them feel the pain of being left out that she does. However, she’s very good at masking this.
