[Day 4] Epee Semi-Finals: Hammerfell-Alezander vs. Tamorlan

Final four in the epee tournament, and Odysseus was still standing. The fight wasn't easy. Two Frays stood in his way, and he expected to lose both matches, but there he was standing tall and proud. A half crooked grin twisted across his face as he stared at the sun rising into the sky over the Olympic stadium. It was a new day. A new chance to bring light into something he had never done before. Torka wasn't anywhere to be found, and Odysseus wondered if he was sulking around somewhere after his pathetic performances, but none of that mattered because Torka beat him. Torka slaughtered him in front of Panem.

A heavy sigh left his chest as he marched forward pressing his mask against his face. He had grown used to it over the last few days, yet it still didn't make it any easier. The mask was a cage holding him in and all he could think about was the cage holding him in the cell in the detention center as they left him to die, but Odysseus survived. That was all he knew. Survival. But at this point survival wasn't going to keep him alive. He had a lot to prove. A lot to hold onto.

He lifted the epee into the air. The lights glistened from the sword. Odysseus didn't say a word because luck wasn't needed, only skill. At least that's what the Fray boy had said. He gave a nod of his head, and when it was time for the match to begin, Odysseus took a deep breath.

This time he wouldn't make a fool of himself like he had done with foil. He would be unpredictable in his every movements, and maybe it would bring him a win.
