Age: 26
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 3
Appearance:
Jennifer is 5'10 and 155 pounds. Long, wavy black hair goes down to her mid-back, and given the fact that she's a fourth mexican, her nose is a little larger than normal. She's about average weight for a woman her age, though her presence can be terrifying to some for very different reasons. Her eyes are a dark brown, and her skin is boring white. Generally, Jennifer wears the fanciest clothes she can find. Since she's in a richer district, it's a bit easier to get designer clothing, though naturally her closet can't be filled with it. One thing she prides, though, are her bright red, obnoxious hoop earrings. It's rare to see her without them.Personality:
Jennifer is, to some, frightening. It isn't her appearance or morals that can make people uncomfortable, it's the way she acts. After an unfortunate divorce with a horrible man years before, Jennifer's self confidence had hit rock bottom. To make up for that, she may be the rudest person you've ever met. Power means confidence, and confident people were respected, right? Jennifer demands respect, and whether it's by screaming a string of obscenities over spilled coffee, or treading on everyone else like they were lesser beings, she will get it. However, another thing that plays into her mind (which she often stuffs down when it arises) is her ever-growing loneliness. Ever since her last love treated her like dirt, she feels like she'll never love again. So why try?History:
Jennifer particularly has a soft spot for children, due to her desperate wish that she could've had one of her own.
She was raised, like most children from District 3, on technology. Her parents taught her how to play with and make gadgets of all sorts. Jennifer was attentive in school, and at home she spent her free time alone, playing with whatever she could. Age fifteen was when she made her own computer, rescuing the parts from various garbage cans around town. While it wasn't much, Jennifer was proud of herself. When she graduated school, she celebrated by going to a bar for the first time in her life with a few friends. While they left early to see a boring movie about how amazing the capitol was, Jennifer stayed, planning out how she wanted her future to go. At about midnight, a man approached her. He seemed to only be a few years older than the young woman, and after a few drinks, they learned what love at first sight was. Jennifer didn't know it, but she loved this man. Not like she loved her mother, or the boy who sat next to her in second grade. This was much more. He brought her back to his apartment, but she wasn't willing to do anything... special, so they exchanged numbers and parted. The next day, they met again for coffee, both of them having raging hangovers. After about a year, when they were sitting on the roof of one of the factories after hours, John proposed to her. Jennifer accepted, and they married as quickly as possible. However, once Jennifer was his, he began to show his true colors. Violent and abusive, he rarely let her go out and used the woman as his own personal toy, instead of a human being. After almost another year of this, Jennifer discovered that she was pregnant. John, enraged, tried to 'convince' her to get an abortion, but she wasn't having it. After the nine months, Jennifer bore a baby girl and named her Billie. However, the night she got back from the hospital, John insisted that the baby slept in the next room. Jennifer was reluctant, but she had to agree. He'd bought a crib, after all. The next morning, she was informed that he had killed the child and, if she wanted, she could see his 'work' in the baby's room. In a fit of sorrow and fury, Jennifer exploded. Things were thrown, words were shouted, and the neighbors began to worry. Without even bothering to see her daughter's carcass, the woman stormed from the home with a few meager belongings. She never saw John again, insisting on a divorce and a restraining order. After John, she lived her life alone, buying a flat her little money could afford, and getting a job as a computer technician. To this day, she still does the same thing, and lives in the same home.Codeword: muttations
