Name: Jason Frost
Gender: Male
Age: 13
District: District 11
Appearance: Fair brown hair, a sort of broad stature from lugging around heavy bags, but certainly not fat. He has a tanned complexion, but not too bad, and is about 5' 1", making him shorter than most. He has good teeth, but not perfect due to the loss of toothpaste lately, and his eyes are dark blue. His arms are not as strong as his legs, as judged by his larger leg muscles.
Personality: Jason, named after the frost that seems to dot the meadows , is headstrong and resilient. While sometimes stubborn, he is usually an open-minded person. While his life has mostly consisted of labor, he has always wanted to express his creativity in the form of writing. Unfortunately, all the capital does is print handbooks on how not to get killed picking daisies. He longs for a life outside of Panem, and is forced to be a pacifist, even though he resents the government greatly. He wants to escape, plainly, and be free of Panem's oppression.
History: Jason Frost was named by his mother, Carol, after the frost that seems to fall on district Eleven's meadows in the winter. He has a little brother at home who he would give his life for and another in the capital who wishes for him to be dead. His father lost his temper one day and was whipped in public. Afterwards, he tried to escape.
They caught him and made him an avox to Jason's older brother and now Jason and his brother are forced to support their constantly sick mother. This has caused an overload of tesserae on Jason's part and now he is closer than ever to being in The Games.
Jason, who has grown rebellious in spirit to Panem's officials, has been secretely plotting an escape, but too many holes fill his plan. In order to save his family, jason has had to remain in District Eleven, working to tow the many agricultural crops to and from the fields. In response, his legs have grown much stronger.
His mother, always sick, is a constant concern to Jason, who can't afford medical treatment and has done the best he could from learning from an old first aid book he found in his basement. He now loves to read and aspires to be a writer. Unfortunately, Panem won't allow that, and thus, he wants to be free.
Now, constantly avoiding his older sibling's tyranny, and insuring his younger one does not follow that path, young Jason wishes to eke out a pathetic existance in the cruel and strict world of Panem's District Eleven.
