Benny is very innocent and naive. With the mentality of a five year old, Benny enjoys life. He loves listening to stories, and coloring pictures for his mother and father. Sometimes he has the occasional temper tantrum when things aren't going his way, or he's trying to get someone's attention because words are not his friend. Spending time outside watching the birds fly high in the sky, or watching people travel to and from work are a few ways he spends his day. And he never worries because he trusts his family to provide one hundred precent of the time. But most of the time he's not good at expressing how he truly feels.

Born in the ninth district, Benny's life hasn't been easy. Constantly going hungry. His parents work in one of the factories trying to provide a living. Many nights he goes to sleep hungry, but his mind is eased from a story being shared. But his life hasn't been easy. Benny never excelled in school, he never spoke. Maybe he found no need to, but his needs were provided. Trapped within a fictional world where his every desire is met, Benny doesn't know what the future holds, but that doesn't matter to him. Going for walks relaxes his mind, and it brings a smile to his face.
