Torka Hammerfell. There had been enough information passed around over the years about Torka Hammerfell. A nightmare to all opponents in the olympics. A strong career with strong words. Basically, nothing like Mitchell Laws. Torka was going to be someone to watch out for. Mitchell knew this and yet he wasn't afraid of the career who could probably impale him fully through. Mitchell could see it happening in his mind whenever he thought about the brute man from District Two. Everything he had heard about him seemed to be true from watching afar, but Mitchell wanted to know. Curiosity was a killer and yet he still fell into the trap, time and time again. Nothing like being a deer caught before he's even acted. The adrenaline from being a thief was the best part of stealing, but now he wanted a challenge. A challenge named Torka Hammerfell.
Eyes stare at him like vultures waiting for the moment for Mitchell Laws to drop dead. They'll feast upon his eyes and tongue before moving on. Mitchell Laws would be digested through the bird's stomach, bones with engravings of failure. Mitchell wouldn't fail stealing something from the career. That's how he perceived it. Torka Hammerfell would crush him like he was nothing. Maybe he'll rip his bones out and use them as armor to protect him from the other killers that would attack them. Maybe he would be cut down to pieces by Torka like Chloe had been. Or maybe he would be killed by a mutt like Cedric Lane. Or maybe he would die by Torka Hammerfell's alliance. District Twelve wasn't meant to win, only to die.
As he approaches the brute of a man, words jumble in his head of what he should say to him. What did careers even talk about? Killing others probably. Mitchell wasn't smiling like he normally would have, instead he kept his face blank. Calm and collected just in case the brute of a career decided to charge Mitchell. Confidence in his own abilities, Mitchell could escape if he needed to. As he approaches, the nerves vanish before him. His voice is the only thing he can hear, "Torka, is it?" Set the trap and take prosperity. Mitchell set up the bait, the question was if Torka would accept it and fall into his trap with ease.
