"Dave, I don't think we should do this."

"Trust me, you'll be fine babe."

"No stop. We can't. Not here."

"It's okay baby, we'll be fine."

Hands roam his body feeling the muscles that were toned from the training and his own perseverance to make them great. A hand touches his stomach, smooth and strong from years of toning it into what he wanted. The soft graze upon his arms, bulked from training for the games, even if he would never make it in. It wasn't his fate, unlike the girl leaning into him, exploring his upper body with her soft hands. His strong and rough hands find their way to her back, a smirk pulling at his lips. Muscles tense as he can feel her cold hands go lower. A smirk upon her lips.

Brown hair is messily styled on his head, her smile only makes his grow. Lips crash against his own plump, rougher lips. Brown eyes of chocolate that reminds the girl of a puppy stare at her eyes. Stubble lining his lower face and upper lip, brown of color, tickle her lips and neck. Tan skin of his forehead leave sweat dripping down as the room became hotter than before. The smirk upon his face still there as their lips disappear. His big hand runs itself through the drenched hair, pushing it into it's normal styled look. That's when the room turns silent. Only a knock from the door echoes in the room, that once was filled with so much affection. A tense air fills the room as the door opens to an older man with a creepier smirk upon his face. Davis stands with a frown on his face for a moment, until a smile fills it's place, just as fake as his true reality.

"Sorry Love."

A scream echoes from the room as he tries to walk out without looking back. The older man quickly grabbing the girl's wrists and zip tying her hands together. Another struggle leads only to her legs being zip tied together. There was no escape, only pain and suffering, just like he had endured. Naive and young then, but only a child when the older man took him to help him. A heartbreaking sob escapes from her lips. A heart shatters as he stops, remembering his own cries a boy. Mother! A world of heart shattering screams was his life now since he was taken by the older man with no heart, but only a vessel of sin. The screams continue as the cloth is shoved over her lips again. Lips that had just been upon his own. A memory of the sin that he commits everyday being alive. No one catches on quickly to the horrors, until it's too late. Until they can't run from the horrors that they never thought they would fall into.

As the door shuts for the day, the older man places a hand upon his shoulder. A shiver runs down his spine, scared of whatever was going to come to him. Praise or anger. Either way, Davis could handle the sin of the man who called himself dad. Not his real dad, but a man with a real name, who broke Davis in months to calling him dad or father. It took a year for him to break into the man who takes people and treats them like they are a precious jewel. Sparkling and spectacular with every gaze it gets. Handsome runs in his veins, but as a boy with pretty looks and a charm to him that can drag people to the depths of terror. They sell them in the end. Never to be seen by his eyes again. Forgotten by his own eyes, only adding to the sins upon Davis' heart that grows and grows with every captured jewel. It took a year for the fear to drive away his moral compass.

"Why? Why Dave? I thought we had something."

"Sorry, love. I'm not supposed to talk to the damned."

The cloth was gone as he had to feed her for the next day to come. She was one of the damned souls who would never be seen again. His heart ached for her, but he couldn't do anything. His heart screamed in it's shattered form, only for him to ignore it in fear of the man who called himself dad. Before the damned and the sins, it had only been him and his real mother who had birthed him. His real father, dying at sea, when he was at a young age. His mother was gorgeous and carried traits that had reminded him of himself. The similarities were clear, even as he lowered her body into a pit of dirt, forced into a reality that he wanted to break underneath his grip.

It wasn't until he was a mere age of sixteen when the man who called himself dad came into his life. Seducing his mother into a bed of lies and fake charm that he once had. Davis never liked the man and now he could see every sin that leaks from the monster's pores. The man snuck his way, undercover into his mother's life. A monster who could camouflage as any normal person within the average world, until it catches the prey it wants. Sinking its claws within the good, until nothing is left of the prey. His mother was meant to die as soon as she fell for the man who called himself dad. It took only a year for the man to become settled into their very home, until he killed her. No struggle as he suffocated her in her sleep. THe next morning, Davis helped his so called father bury his own mother in the backyard.

She still sits there, body decomposing and burning from the water, bugs, and warmed earth that she lays underneath. The so called father beat him for a year. Submission was his only escape. His only way to be able to live a life, even if it was weak and not what he wanted. It took a year of beatings and mental abuse, until Davis broke from it all. Fear striking it's arrows into his heart, shattering the red glowing light to pieces. His life before was great. Training for the hunger games, his own actual mother, and a happy life full of fun. That was all taken away within the older man who called himself dad's hands. Everything was lost within three words. "I love you." How he wished to have warn her of his gut feeling, but the past was the past. There was no escape for the damned.

"Dave! I-I thought you cared..."

Each time that his dad decides on the next damned, Davis has to start his own work upon them. Learn everything he can about them before he can put himself into their life. Life was always normal for the most part, until his dad picked the next damned soul that they would steal away. Davis trained for the Hunger games that he would never be allowed into, only another place for his damned soul to go to, until death. There was no escape for the damned. Days would pass, even months, until the next damned was chosen. Stalking out the damned was easier said than done. It involved watching their every move, until a moment when he can strike like the monster had done to his mother. Chains bind him to the man who called himself dad. Sorrows lie deep within his soul, but he was only a man, chained, beaten, broken, and abuse until he could no longer think for himself.

The target was a girl. A pretty one who seemed on the higher end of the wealthy side. A great target that only his dad could have picked. It took only days for him to figure out a way into her protected life. Every weekend, she went to the library to check out books, alone with nobody watching. It took days to figure out where to step into her life, but it only took seconds for him to make it something new. Flirty words and subtle touches turned to quick kisses and trust. Only for him to crush it like he did with every person who crossed paths with him and the man who called himself father. They were sweet together and if he weren't under the shackles of the beatings and fear, they could have become something, but the damned only live to serve and die.

As he stares at her eyes filled with tears. His hands strokes her cheek as his heart shatters over and over again. No words could describe how he felt about leading people to their imminent doom that was known as the man who called himself dad. The tortured screams as he would tell them things or beat them into submission, until a buyer takes them away. Their sorrows and pleading cries gone for good. Only memories of the good that he locks up in his mind, until the day he can be free comes again. The man who called himself his father's words ring along with his own.
