So as everyone knows Ali you are a breath taking writer. Every time I read your writing it leaves me speechless and in complete envy of the elegance and skill you have. To honor this I have made a mini scrape book filled with new tables for you to use as you wish along with quotes of your writing which have blown me away over all this time!
Happy Holidays Ali!
Happy Holidays Ali!
Quote One
"When stars die, from earth, many only seem to perish in a whimper. A flash of light, a star appears brighter from earth when it dies for a few days before fading from existence completely, even with a telescope, the death of a star seems insignificant to the eye but out in space, in the cosmos where a star makes its home. When a star dies, it screams, erupting suddenly in a flurry of light and unimaginable heat, sending tendrils of star dust hurtling out into the void; the only thing left in its place would be a ribcage of nebulonic clouds, glittering in the shallow light of the tiny star that is left behind.
Hypatia Anning could feel her tendrils of star dust leeching away into the cosmos as her eyes flutter shut, her hands falling limp in her lap allowing the blood which had cupped in her hands to flow away into the hot earth as she exhaled. She could feel tears welling in her eyes, hot against her cooling cheeks, but she barely had the energy to sob and so she simply whimpered as the waves of her supernova rocked through her."
Quote 2
"Fear writhed and spat beneath the gentle surface of the ocean of excitement that washed over the room, like an undertow, those who tentaviely treaded water at the surface did not know what lay beneath them. A silent storm, dragging at their feet, threatening to bring them under at a moments notice; all it took was the wrong move and...but the watchful eyes of men in white suits, peacekeepers, kept their heads above water."
Cassiopeia Shaw
Quote 3
"Her brown eyes searched the gentle darkness before her, quickly darting around, her ears, listening for footsteps. He should have been here by now, Atticus and as she chewed her lip anxious, tearing at the skin there with her teeth, the girl wondered, where has our king got to? Why hasn't he arrived? Time is passing. The thoughts were brash, consistent, and dredged the feeling of uncertainty from within her gut, causing it to churn as she sat, waiting for her friend- their friend- to make an appearence.
Eventually, after fruitlessly searching the emptiness before her, Ester's gaze fell on the only other soul member currently inside the tent; the others were with their families, or were on their way, Ester could never remember which. All she knew, was that she had no family- or do I?- and hence why she was here with Andromeda. She watched as the gas lamps flickered inside the canopy tent, casting a golden glow over the young mans pale skin. "You look like Icarus." the girl commented after a moment, attempting to smile, forgetting her worry for the absence of Atticus, only to frown after a moment of empty thought."
