Nothing is better than break time during school. Except for lunch. Or school. Or break time. Or everything. Other than that, nothing beats it. I enjoy having a break from classes. Classes hurt my head, especially math class. How does 1+1=2? Was it agreed upon by a group of people a long time ago? Why couldn't it equal 256? Or √(-1)? I truly never understood. it. I never needed math anyways. It's a stupid subject. Completely unnecessary I'll never need it. A good subject is like history, government, and philosophy. They hurt my head as well, but it isn't as bad as math. I'm just glad that break is happening now.
I walk outside to the courtyard after a grueling English class. We worked on grammar today, which I got lost after the teacher brought up who vs. whom. Whom cares? I sure don't. A bench with shade from a nearby tree catches my attention. That looks like a nice bench. Have I sat there yet? Does it really matter? No one is sitting there now, so I'm gonna sit there.
As I get closer to the tree, a smol dose of regret builds up. Why is it so cold over here? I shouldn't sit here. But I can't change seats now. I already mentally chose this one, so I can't. The realization that I have forgotten hits me like a truck as soon as i sat down. Crap. What did I forget this time? If anyone was around me, they would most likely see smoke coming out of my head. What is it? I look around me, noticing that I brought nothing with me from my English class, and I can't get it until after school. What am I forgetting?
I suddenly am aware of what I forgot. I don't have a pillow. Oh well. I'm just gonna have to sleep without a pillow. And a blanket. I guess I don't need them. I have a coat I can use for a blanket and clothes to use for warmth. Perfect. I take off my jacket, only to remember I put on a short sleeve shirt today. Gotta take off my shirt and put my jacket back on.
I finally make what felt like the longest switch ever, but I finally did it. It took forever to fall asleep, though. It did happen, though, or else falling on the ground face first wouldn't have been as surprising. What just happened? If I hadn't been so flabbergasted at how I got from the bench to the ground, I probably wouldn't have had someone or something fall on my back, causing my breath to escape me. "Please--get off of me." It took everything to get those five words out, but it had to be done if I wanted to breath again.
