Ratmas 2016 - Day Five - Tutor Match Event

That's right, dears and darlings, it's time to start threading!

The tutors have been busy the past few days pairing up your characters and coming up with fun situations to throw them into! The pairs are listed below, along with the tutors' suggested situation for your thread. Keep in mind that the situation is not required. In fact, we encourage you to reach out to each other and expand on the idea or come up with a new one all on your own! We're all super excited to see what you come up with.

Remember that you will have 10 days to complete your threads for this event (though if you don't finish in that time and want to keep going, feel free!). You are allowed to blitz post for this event.

What's your incentive to finish, you may ask? Any members that complete their thread by the deadline (midnight EST on January 8th) will receive one free tessera! But wait, there's more. The first, second, and third pair to finish their threads will win these wonderful site-money prizes:

Nikko (Dreamer) and Tracey Philipsson (Yoya)
SITUATION: Nikko has gotten the opportunity of a lifetime to interview for a high-ranking position at his job...but so has Tracey. They’re waiting for their interview together.

Amethyst Chrysolite (Lance) and Adessia Silvester (Arx)
SITUATION: The Games have wrapped up and Amethyst has been tasked with ensuring that the GM HQ has been cleaned out from last Games, in preparation for the 75th. During her walk-through, she notices a light on in Adessia’s studio, even though it’s late at night and no one is supposed to be there.

Petelia Quartz (Rave) and Mikhail Lin-Petrov (Fox)
SITUATION: The GMs have decided to try something new this year with Mutt Design. This year, they want to bring in models wearing furs and pose them, so that the mutt designers can see “mutts in-action.” Clearly, everyone thinks this idea is ridiculous, but Petelia has been called in to design Mikhail.

Coco Gatling (Pogue) and Boy (Anzie)
SITUATION: Boy is an on errand for his employer, but while in the streets begins to stop and remember something...Coco spots him looking a bit funny, and feeling suspicious, decides to follow.

Noreen Vipointe (Gaby) and Julian Kaiera (Arctic)
SITUATION: Julian hears Noreen singing and goes to find the source of the sound; when Noreen notices him, she thinks he’s spying and becomes curious at his appearance.

Daniela Rasoio (Frankel) and Laurel Rasoio (Aza)
SITUATION: Daniela recognizes Laurel by her brother and the two eventually get into a discussion about Ripred and the cruelty of the world.

Styx Fray (Briar) and Atlas Lumiere (Kousei)
SITUATION: Styx has had a bad day and she wants a drink. Atlas is really feeling himself today and also wants a drink. They are in a bar.

Pine Oak (emsrocks) and Chrysanthemum Scheherazade (Ghosty)
SITUATION: After being told to meet at an old book store for one of his deals, Pine becomes significantly confused and tries to sell Chrysanthemum drugs. Oops.

Braylon Yandelle (Kaplan) and Nicolas Barrera (Noodles)
SITUATION: Braylon knew this prank would be fun, but he had no idea it would have the Peacekeepers out looking for the perpetrator. Nicole is on her way home when she sees the prank in action and Braylon decides to take her along to keep her from telling.

Regan Proctor (Ali) and Adaira Lynsen (Moonstone)
SITUATION: The Career trainers will claim it was the most incredible fight they’ve seen in years, and not just because of the fighting skill, but because they’ve never seen two girls more angry with one another.

Ozzy Ishtar (Cato) and Tobias Staite (Mattio)
SITUATION: After falling asleep on the beach, Tobias proceeds to have a horrible nightmare and starts screaming. Ozzy finds him and wakes him up.

Diamond Nixton (Arrows) and Adelaide Throes (earthling)
SITUATION: Diamond approaches Adelaide one day after hearing about her on the streets, desperately hoping that she can bring her brother back.

Charlie Anning (Tom) and Iro Felix (Thundy)
SITUATION: Charlie runs into Iro close to the district’s border and is fascinated by the “wild woman” who is so in touch with nature.

Raven Barker, 18 (Dars) and Russell Van Alphen, 18 (Gryphon)
SITUATION: Raven is trying to release some pent up anger in the woods and is discovered by Russell, who becomes determined to help her escape her anger in the same way he is trying to escape the sorrows of poverty.

Tansy Konahrik (Lyndis) and Drew Lynch (Fuzzy)
SITUATION: Tansy does everything she can to draw Drew into her rebellious ways.

Aloes Lumiere, 16 (Gaby) and Peggy Fray, 16 (Aza)
SITUATION: Peggy is stumbling out of the training center in the District where she frequently trains for the glory, for the blood. Has she won her fight? Lost? Aloes doesn’t know, but Aloes follows anyway.

Oblivion Reigns, 18 (emsrocks) and Ryan Young, 17 (Yoya)
SITUATION: Ryan hadn’t meant to hit THAT hard, but now his hand is bleeding...profusely. Luckily, Oblivion is on-hand (get it?) to sort things out.

Regan Proctor, 18 (Ali) and Adaira Lynsen, 16 (Moonstone)
SITUATION: They’ve been paired up in a fight during career training in school. Better yet, they both have someone watching that they want to impress.

Justice Fray, 18 (Arx) and Arcann Lumiere, 17 (Cato)
SITUATION: Justice and Arcann have been given an important task by their schoolteachers: deliver a stack of important letters to the Justice Building, determining who has been at school and who hasn’t. Will they get there?

Berenice Crockett, 18 (Gaby) and Marco Guerra, 16 (Noodles)
SITUATION: This party sucks. Everyone’s already drank all the alcohol, but Marco has his own idea of fun: a high-risk knife game that Berenice automatically volunteers to play. Careers do things better, don’t they?

Aerys Hammerfell, 28 (earthling) and Lucrezia Sarasin, 18 (briar)
SITUATION: Aerys wants an exotic animal and Lucrezia’s got them!
