Not so new member introduction

Hey all!

So I'm not exactly new. I joined this site in 2010 (which now feels like a world away) and then was pretty active until 2012. I made so many incredible friends and have lots of very happy memories of this place, but life got busy - as it tends to - and I disappeared into university life for four years. I remember checking in a couple of times and waving in the cbox up until maybe 2014, but then I pretty much disappeared (so sorry!)

Something about New Year's Eve has a tendency to make me melancholic and also it forces you to reflect and so I thought I would check back on all of my old role-play sites. Most of the boards, predictably, are long since dead. They're sad landscapes where every now and then someone will show up in the cbox and say "I miss you guys" or "miss this place" and get a similar response a few months down the line. They're also archives of my writing through the years. I started rp when I was fourteen and I can't read anything from back then without cringing a little a lot. And then I checked this site, not really expecting anything different. Four years is a long time. But - I was surprised to see it up and running. Very up and running. And most of the people I loved back then are still active. And I got to see them in the cbox and I cried many tears don't make fun of me Chaos because I'm an emotional being and very weepy. BUT ANYWAY.

So I exist still! Now that my BA and MA careers at university are over I would love to return to this site and I will try very hard to at least stay in contact via slack if I fail in this endeavour. Going to give a brief update to those who knew me in the past and say that I'm doing great, I'm a recent graduate looking forward to a career in (hopefully) publishing, in a long-term relationship, I was vice-president of my university Hogwarts society (still a geek!), and look forward to having a fur baby in the near future.

Ooh and I also run an active tumblr blog on which I accidentally started a viral bear-bear post that haunts me to this day.
It's the only claim to fame I have.

Okay so. tldr; I missed this place last night and I checked back on the off-chance that it still exists.
