One.
That's the amount of times I've thought about trying to bring myself down this week. It's definitely an improvement from what I've thought of myself before. It's completely out of this world ; inhumane of me right now to really think badly about myself. Recently I've been trying to shove my emotions away and make my parents as proud as possible. They're your parents - how could you NOT want to make them approve of what you've done in life? Not really sure, but there must be someone out there trying to find the answer to that.
Today I was practicing my fencing and my grip was so strong on the damned thing that it caused my hands to burn. I think I've gotten so determined to do so good that I've tried to do anything to any pain to get the best result out of it. So I decided to take a break - who wouldn't need one. I sat down on the wall of the gym, taking a breather and just watching the others who were here train.
It's hard to not take a break from success when you're doing all you can to not fail that success.
