A dealer of whispers and secrets, Luxord is the younger brother of Xemnas Hart, who leads the Hart criminal family, and a notorious gambler. Though is it really gambling if you always win? Luxord has a way with cards and dice, some way of getting them to always fall out in his favor. He owns the bar where several family members work, and where many in the district stop by for a late night drink. Often he stays behind the scenes, but every once in a while he pops out under the guise of an employee, particularly on Casino Nights, where he rakes in plenty of money, and secrets, for the house.



Life has been kind to Luxord, and he sees no reason to try anything new when everything’s been going so well for him. With no apparent reason to fear being reckless, Luxord often entertains himself by partaking in the vices the world has to offer. He is a strong believer in fate and tends to speak in cryptic riddles, treating life as if nobody truly has control over their decisions. A favorite line of his is, “The dice have been cast.” Absolving himself of responsibility in this way, he figures he might as well take advantage of the pleasures at his disposal.



That's also why he does not worry about the fact that he seems to be aging relatively quickly. His moustache and goatee began graying long before the age of fifty, and his once-smooth face is now lined with more than its fair share of wrinkles. It must be a result of all the stress he went through in his youth before he and his brother got established and fate started being kinder to the entire Hart clan. Even at forty nine though, long past his prime, Luxord stands at an imposing six feet, three inches tall and is relatively broad.
