cadence is fourteen pairs of shoes, twenty tubes of lipstick and three wigs. she's seven scarves, and dresses in twelves shades of red. she's two suitcases full of assorted props, and twenty three compositions of specific career uniforms. she's one leatherback notebook, with one hundred pages filled with lists of made up names, backgrounds, scenarios. she's one small cassette player and three tapes, with samples of accents, songs, made up stories. cadence is numbers, but only because she is too many people to be described as just one. she's made of spun stories, multitudinous layers of curiosity, and lies. she's loss, and loneliness, and a deep fear of open flames. but she's company - in the sense that she's an acting troupe all in one person, but also in the sense that she, and all her characters within that, takes care of herself.
