Lucas Prizemni
"Good morning!"
Lucas Prizemni was in a surprisingly cheery mood this morning. When one of his daughters had entered the kitchen that morning, the wealthy career man had already prepared breakfast. Eggs, sausage and a glass of orange juice were set out in the place settings for he and each of his children. It wasn't every morning that he made breakfast for them, but today, he had something a bit different planned to do with one of his daughters- the one that had already come downstairs- Sativa.
"Hey, Sativa, how are you doing this morning? I've got something special in store for our training today," he told her. The man ran his own career training center, which is where his children did their career training. It was also open to other people in the District, both those of reaping age and otherwise. Lucas himself even did his daily workouts in the training center, even though he was thirty-nine years old, meaning that he was much too old to be reaped at this point. Regardless, in his opinion, it felt good to do what the career kids did, so that he could keep in shape.
Mr. Prizemni had always been in shape. When he was younger, he was a hard-core career, hoping that one day, he would be able to try his hand at the Hunger Games. He never had that opportunity, however, meaning that he never really got to test his skills. Though, at the same time as he's disappointed not having been able to go into the Games, he's also glad that he didn't, since it meant that he was guaranteed the chance to be able to start a family. Had he gone into the Games, there was no guarantee that he would have come out alive, meaning that his children never would have been born. He also never would have started his own training center. The training center and his family were the most important aspects of his life, in his opinion, and more so his family than anything else.
Yes, the man trained his children to be ready for the Hunger Games, but that didn't mean he wanted them to go in unless they wanted to. He didn't want them to have no choice, and he most certainly didn't want them to die in the arena. He didn't want them to die at all, and definitely not on national television. Lucas wanted to protect his children at all costs, and perhaps that was where today's special addition to their usual training would come in handy.
