Appearance: Nova is known for being that girl. The one who could just be walking down the street like any other day, only with men dropping their jaws and women sighing enviously as she does so.
She's 5'7 and rather slim, mostly from never getting enough to eat. The girl's hair is almost to her waist and is blonde. She often wears it down, hating to put it up in ponytail, braid, or bun.
Her wide, doll-like eyes are of the brown hue.
Nova's lips are plump and puckered constantly.
She has high cheekbones set into her pale face.
Though not exactly the brains or brawn of the operation, she sure is the beauty. Though not very muscular, she can fend for herself.

Personality: As stated above, Nova is the beauty of the operation. She uses this to her advantage, often getting her way with whoever. She's very manipulative, lying to get her way around things. Finding loopholes is her strategy.
Despite this, she has a soft spot for anyone that treats her well. Nova often feels as if she doesn't deserve it, though.
This girl is the stubborn type, often throwing a fit if something doesn't go her way.
She's spoiled, that you can tell, but she is also hurting. She's not as shallow as everyone likes to believe.
She's a bit of a narcissist and, when it comes down to it, she is only looking out for herself. If she doesn't, who will?
Nova admires the rich and famous, in love with the idea of the Capitol and higher class districts. Though anyone else she sees as below her.
Though, secretly, she feels like scum. She feels dirty and disposable like trash. She will never let you see that side of her, though. God help the poor fool who accuses her of having a fake smile, even if its true.

History: Nova wanted it all. She was materialistic to the extreme. The girl wanted more than anything to be in the Capitol. She wanted fortune and fame, but had to settle for what she had. It wasn't exactly fair in her eyes. She felt that she was born into the wrong life.
She had doting parents who only wanted the best for her and spoiled her as much as you possibly can in one of the poorest districts. 
Known for being the prettiest girl, of course she had to go steady with the most handsome boy in her district. The two of them only ever showed affection in public, with her hanging on his arm and him causing the other ladies to faint as he passed by. He would present her with roses and pretend to be awestruck by her, but behind closed doors... All they did was fight. Eventually, she was known for being "clumsy" when she bruises began to bloom on her fair skin.
Then came the night everything changed for her. She had been walking through the orchards, finishing up her work. Despite her dainty appearance, she always worked hard.
It was getting late, and she was soon to leave, when the boy she was going steady with appeared. She was surprised at first but then worried when his friends started to show up as well. They were alone on the farm; the boys with malicious intent in their eyes.

In the end, she was left there; naked and afraid. After laying there, crying and cursing, she gathered her clothes in the dark and went home.
She never told anyone what had happened.
After that, she stayed indoors and refused to socialize. Until it hit her. Her beauty wasn't a curse, it was a weapon.
