Lucas Prizemni

Family man, and a bit of a recent schmoozer, Lucas Prizemni was doing what he could to impress the people of the District he lived in. Then again, it was quite the difficult thing to do in District One, as there were a lot of other popular candidates that he would be competing against. Therefore, he had to do his best to get people's attention in the best way possible, and make sure that it was a good kind of attention. Adding to his campaign was something the man had been doing gradually, so handing out fliers and buttons wasn't that big of a jump. With one of his own campaign buttons pinned to his polo shirt, he headed out the front door of his home, fliers in hand.

As he ventured around, he stopped by various people and stopped into various shops, all the while handing out the buttons and fliers he had with him. They were accepted by many, and rejected by some. No matter how many people turned down his offers, though, he would move on to the next person, hoping that he could win their vote. Some of the people he was campaigning to, he knew well. Others, he had never met before, or had only spoken to a couple of times. To him, however, they were all fair game, and he had to win them over. He wasn't trying to be selfish, but he did want to win.

Approaching a woman on the street as he had been doing with many others, he spoke to her.

"Excuse me, ma'am. I'm Lucas Prizemni, and I'm running for mayor of the District. Would you be interested in telling me what you think of my campaign?" he asked, handing her a flier. It highlighted his main points, which included readying the population both physically and intellectually for anything that may effect them, educating the people to their fullest potential, and assistance for the elderly, less fortunate and poorer people of the District.

Florencia Cully

Florencia was tired. It had been a long night on the Hospital Ward, shadowing the qualified nurses as she studied and learnt hands on how to become just like them but Florencia did not mind having to work the night shift. It was a shift that many of her collegues complained about, but she saw it as just more oppurtunity to help people who needed it most. So she did not mind working from dusk til dawn-

except when she had school the next day.

The only trouble working part time meant that school still was a priority just as much as being a nurse in training was. She needed to pass school to pass her nurses training and while it wasn't vice versa, she felt as if it was. Hence why she hurried through the streets of One with urgency in order to get home, changed, fed before heading off to her first period lesson. The crowds around her put her on edge, the lack fo sleep was putting her into a foul mood and it wasn't helped by the fact there were campaigners out.

Her mood was not aided when one had the audacity to stop her in the middle of the street, shoving a flyer in her direction. She took it without much thought before speaking "Look, Mr-" she looked a the flyer "Prizemni. As much as I would LOVE to chat. I have places to be..."

Lucas Prizemni

The girl that Lucas had decided to approach on the streets seemed to be in quite a bit of a hurry, which, unfortunately, Lucas had not noticed prior to speaking to her. Now, he felt a slight pang of guilt when she said that she had somewhere to be. He didn't know if he should keep talking to her, as that could be seen as rude, or if he should try to keep talking to her, as he truly did need some attention for his campaign. Pausing a moment when he was spoken to, he then apologized.

"I'm sorry to have bothered you. That's my mistake," he said politely. "Is there any chance I could talk to you another time?" he inquired. He really needed to spread his ideas to the people, but still needed to be polite about it without interrupting the important parts of everyone's lives. Therefore, he figured that this was the best way to do things. Mr. Prizemni was at least glad that the girl was initially polite to him. Although, he still had to hope for the best that maybe, just maybe, she'd be willing to speak with him later on, when she wasn't busy.

The man wondered what his daughters would think if someone came up to them, asking the same thing, perhaps when they were busy, headed to school, the training center, or anywhere else. Would they be moderately kind yet still brush him off like this girl he didn't know, or would they do something differently. He hoped that if they were to brush off the person approaching them, that they were still somewhat kind about it. If not, that would result in him speaking to them about it if he found out. Perhaps that's something he should mention to them.

Florencia Cully

Florencia was a very busy woman. If she wasn't working at the hospital then she was at school. If she wasn't at school or the hospital then she was at home trying to keep her family together as it crumbled before her. Busy might be an understatement, she was constantly being swept off her feet.

So to find herself at a standstil momentarily, it felt like a breath of fresh of air- even though Flo would not like to admit it. She took a deep breath as she let the man before her apologize her for stopping her; she was running ahead of time, she supposed, and it wouldn't be bizzare if she turned up to School in her nurse uniform.

"No, it's okay" she said with a sigh "Just got off my shift at the hospital. I have to get to school...but I have a few minutes...."

Lucas Prizemni

When the girl spoke, she let out a sigh. A pang of guilt surged through Lucas, and he felt bad about bothering her. She explained that she was headed to school after the conclusion of her hospital shift, and the man nodded in response. He understood how tiring things like that could be. When he was younger, he worked two jobs and still went to school, which often caused a busy schedule for him, too. The man decided to give his apologies once again, hoping that he hadn't bothered the girl too significantly.

"My apologies again. I know how difficult it can be to have such a busy schedule. I had one myself when I was younger," he explained to her. "Here, how about this," he started. "I'll leave you be, and you just take a look at my flier sometime," the man said with a smile. He hoped that the girl wasn't too significantly irked by his presence.

He could recall that when he was a teenager, people would often cause him lateness when he was going from one workplace to another, or from a workplace to school. Lucas didn't want to be the cause of that for someone else, and therefore decided he should leave the girl be. Yes, his campaign was important to him, but the well-being of District citizens, especially the younger ones, was much more vital, in his opinion.
