Albaric Lumiere
Thud! The knife I threw smacks into the center of the target, as usual. Now, all three of my blades have made their homes in the same vicinity. As I've run out of weapons to throw, I go over to retrieve my knives, pulling them each out of the target and proceeding to return them to where I got them from. My training for the day was over. As usual, I'd done an exemplary job in my work.
Though, as I was about to leave the training center, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted javelins and quite a few people attempting to throw them, only to do a poor job. I smirked. I could definitely make simple work of that, and show them all up in the process. It was easy for me to show I was the best when it came to a lot of career training, and this was no exception. Approaching the javelins myself, I picked one up, and aimed it at the target.
Being sure to get enough momentum, I then lunged, and the weapon flew through the air until it made its way into the heart of the human-shaped mannequin of a target. I got a few glances from the others that had been attempting to do the same, and flashed them a smile. I didn't bother to retrieve my weapon, leaving it lodged in the target, and walked towards the door to exit the training center. It was when I was about to leave, however, that I saw someone who looked vaguely familiar, but at the same time, I couldn't quite place who she was.
The girl had dark eyes and dark hair, so I knew there couldn't be any way she was a Lumiere. We were all blond, with light colored skin and light colored eyes. Therefore, I figured she must be someone I'd met through career training. Regardless of who she was, though, I had no way of finding out, unless I asked. Unfortunately, I'd never been exactly... the best at wording things.
"Who the Hell are you and why do you look familiar?"
Shit. I messed it up. She was never going to be happy with me now, meaning I'd have to either get out of there, or apologize profusely, and I wasn't one to apologize.
