The tribute with the newest bio to survive the bloodbath will be sponsored with what looks like an ordinary sword at first glance. However, upon closer inspection, the tribute will find a button at the base of the sword's hilt; upon pressing it, the sword separates into several individual sections, looking more like a bladed whip than a sword. Another press of the button, and the whip retracts back into sword format. This unique weapon will allow the user to switch between sword rolls and whip rolls from attack to attack (though once you've made your choice in one attack, you cannot change it to the other in the same attack), and because of the sharpness of each individual blade will add an extra +1 damage to any attack over 6 damage dealt while used as a whip.
