Kennedy Fowley
Ma had told him that she was proud of him for going through with the election.
Win or lose, she'd be there for him, even if he were to be put down with words. That didn't happen. He was doing alright, just like the rest of the candidates. Hope was something that they all looked for. Something that can be achieved by District Ten and he wanted to achieve it himself for them. His sister would have been beaming with joy at him if he were to win. Winning wasn't everything though. He wanted to make a difference. A difference that would create a better tomorrow. That's why he had set up this meeting with one of his endorsements.
Hellion Kimberly Kay had supported him in his election. A person who thought that his ideas might be great for the district or at least better than the last mayor's. Eyes scan the place that he had set up a meeting at. A small bakery that he's been to multiple times over. Pastries that made his mouth water with just the smell. When they were younger, his ma let him go to this bakery to get Riven a treat for her hard work. A smile pulls at his lips as he remembers the good times he's had with his siblings.
His eyes follow to the door as he stands, seeing Miss Kay walking in. A smile already on his face that was both forced and not so forced. He enjoyed talking to people, even though he had never been good at it as a kid. He goes for a handshake with the relaxed form of him that isn't as serious as before. Words come from his lips in a polite tone. A thank you for endorsing him.
"Hello, Miss Kay. It's fantastic to meet you. Thank you for your endorsement."
