"Sai non importa il trucco, la bellezza è in testa"
The tributes had filtered into the Training Center for the first day of training, meaning that Lorenza would finally become acquainted with more than just her District partner. She looked around upon entering the large room full of weaponry and survival stations, trying to decide just where to begin. There was a plethora of options, so decisions became difficult to make. The young woman, aged eighteen years, was at the same time excited to get started as she was nervous to do so. Just the thought of training for a death match scared her, but she wouldn't let it show through.
There was a lot of diversity in the crop of tributes this year, and Lorenza wasn't even sure if she should approach any of them, or just stay on her own. After all, she planned on being on her own in the arena, without allies. It was what she felt was the safest thing to do. Perhaps it was because she didn't trust the others, knowing only one was capable of emerging victorious. She wondered if that individual would be her. After all, she couldn't possibly let herself be killed when she made that silent promise to Rena about returning home.
She pondered as to what her mother, father and Benito would think if she were killed. Even worse, what would they think if she became a killer? Za-Za couldn't even get herself to picture their reactions. After all, it would be intentional killing if it happened. It wouldn't be an accident like when Angelo was killed. Would Lorenza make it out alive and return to her living family, or would she just end up joining Angelo in whatever afterlife may exist?
The girl tried to avoid thinking about the Games themselves at the moment. She needed to focus on bettering her skills before they approached her too quickly. Za-Za started going to various stations, seeing what she see most fit, until she caught herself watching another tribute doing something. It was the girl from Eleven, from what she remembered. Za-Za felt bad for her, too. After all, the girl was an Izar, meaning that she'd lost people to the Games in the past. The District One tribute couldn't imagine what that would be like, and she hoped that should she become victor, she wouldn't have to find out.
Unsure of what came over her, Za-Za decided to approach the Izar girl. In a polite tone, she spoke to her. She wanted to appear kind. After all, making enemies wasn't ever a good thing. It was even worse when you'd be fighting to death with said enemies relatively soon.
"Hey, how're you doing? I'm Za-Za... er... Lorenza, really. I go by Za-Za. It's nice to meet you."
