"You're making friends easily. Must be nice. So if you want to stay on my good side - dont' touch me again."
Wendell's eyes rolled into the back of his head. His breath shooting out with an exhausted kind as the trainer tried to show him once more how to hold the bow, but a few feet away, yet another was training for the exact same weapon. It was supposed to be a good idea, per the trainers, for the tributes to try at least everything once if not twice while they were training. Wendell seemed to be bored and halfways pissed off at the bow as he couldn't seem to get the hang of it. Either the bow wanted to sting his fingers or his elbow wasn't going to arch the way it was needed to in order to keep the arrow straight as it tried to penetrate the air.
"How about giving me one of those spiked clubs you have over there and I'll show you what I think of the bow?" He teased the trainer, which in return didn't exactly earn him a warm smile. Quite the opposite as the trainer dropped his arm and the bow was no longer in use. It returned to the holster as the instructor left. "What? Was it something I said?"
A hand ran through his hair. His gaze slid over to the one who was trying to accomplish the same task as him, but he almost seemed to get the hang of it better than he did. But, the question was, did he want to succeed or fail?
"Looks like you are as bad at it as I am... but the bow seems like something a weakling would try to master. Am I right?" Wendell picked up the bow. Next, he grabbed an arrow and toyed with it in his hand. "They don't show you how to use these very well, do they? How were they teaching you?"
