Teddy Ursa
Ma used to tell him that he needed to knock on doors before he enters a room. It was the polite thing to do, but since she's passed, he's been losing that politeness that kept him sane for so many years. They were in the rooms for district six. Avoxes, their escort, and the tributes were the only ones that were meant to be on their floor. Fancy rooms filled with screens of people talking about games or just whatever was important in the capitol. Fancy rooms that always had an avox carrying around alcohol or some sort of food item. Some carried towels, bed sheets, and so many other things, but he ignored them. Even if they seemed to look worriedly at him as he moves towards the room Basil was staying in.
Star, their escort had told him to go get Basil for whatever reason. Teddy hadn't tried to stick around Basil, for the fact that she didn't need someone like him around. A dead weight to the games that would only cause more problems than good things. After all, Basil had ended up with a nine over his measly five. Hand knocks on the door for a second as he speaks out to her.
"Basil, The..."
He's already turning the knob and opening the door when he can see two bodies instead of one. Basil and the female for Seven. The red blush that comes to his face fills him with an awkward look. This was not how his day was supposed to go. This was not what he meant to walk in on. The blush on his face reaches his ears and his hand scratches the back of his neck as he tries to look away. Voice comes out barely from his throat. It's hard to speak when he's interrupted something. No wonder the avoxes gave him a worried look.
"I-I... Didn't mean to interrupt... I should have waited for an answer...."
