"Mama please I'm not..." Pain pierces my skull a gasp escapes my mouth. "Its happening again... Mama... Mama..." Hands hold tightly to the one who gave me this world from her womb. Tears trail down my cheeks while siren screams split my lips while I shake her lost within her eternal drunken stupor. Words become nothing more than useless sounds spilling from malfunctioning lips. My body cracks, fizzles, and falls to the floor beside the couch sending me into the sea of shadows I know as being unconscious. I don't recall how long I'm left in the dark this time. Clouds crowd my views as froth is brushed off my lips by weakened hands. Several terrible tremors still tick in my legs as I stare lost at an empty ceiling. The door bursts open.
Eris enters and rushes to my aid all to late to do more than pull me into her arms and try to protect me from my weakened wicked thoughts. Screams shower from her lips towards our only care giver still to deep into the sheets of drunken slumber to hear. Her tears fall on my face, I'd tell her its okay but I know I won't be able to until I recover from this latest attack. Her apologies continue on and on...

He and his sister both work as tinkers fixing whatever is brought to them and as house cleaners when business is slow, they are the primary income of their house after all.
