After the "You just /had/ to take it!" RE has been triggered, all tributes will automatically move to the obsidian flows to partake in the lava flow swarm, regardless as to whether or not they have already fled the fight (bc ur still in the area even after u flee). This swarm will have some key differences from the last one, but the overall structure will be the same.
Each tribute will start this swarm with 50 stamina. Every round, tributes must roll [*roll range="5-25"] to see how much stamina they lose each round from trying to escape the lava. In addition to this, if they so choose, tributes may do one of the following:
- roll a secondary Stamina roll to aid one other tribute for that round. The other tribute gets [3/4 * second roll] (rounded up) added back to their stamina. (The helping tribute spends the full second roll.)
- roll a secondary Stamina roll to impede one other tribute for that round. The other tribute gets [3/4 * second roll] (rounded up) subtracted from their stamina. (The impeding tribute spends the full second roll.)
- roll a secondary Stamina roll to attack another tribute for that round. The other tribute takes the damage from that attack. (The impeding tribute spends the full second roll)
tl;dr re: rolls:
Primary stamina roll (everyone, every round): range="5-25"
Secondary stamina roll (optional, see above): range="5-15"
Once a tribute reaches 20 stamina or below, they start to lag behind, and each round after they will take +8 damage in burns from being so close to the molten lava. At the same time, the two tributes with the lowest stamina that are above this threshold of 20 will also have two fire rolls rolled against them, with immolations becoming +10 instead of an instant kill. Once a tribute reaches zero stamina, they will no longer have to roll (bc you can't have negative stamina) but they will no longer be able to use any secondary rolls.
This swarm will not end after a certain number of deaths. Rather, it will go on for a total of three rounds, and after the end of the third round the swarm will cease and the event will end. No deaths are required at all throughout the course of this event, nor will any deaths stop it.
The swarm will start once a GM has posted an intro post, and then the tribute that was directly after the tribute that triggered the swarm in the posting order will start the round.
