"This isn't necessary."
The entire morning had been a whirlwind of wasted time and Jacquelyn fluffing his hair. But the Capitol would always get what it wanted; Tobias was nothing more than a single piece of a very, very complicated game.
And so, when the citizens of Panem's most pampered and elite realized how many tributes in this games were related to past tributes, they had requested a dinner, and no one ever told a Capitolite no.
"It'll be fine," Jacquelyn explained, running a hand through Tobias's hair one last time as they descended from the Seventh floor to the cafeteria. "I'm sure most of them are just as uncomfortable with this as you are."

"Smells good!" she said with a wink, "I'll be back for you in precisely twenty minutes. With that, the doors closed and he was left alone. A quick survey revealed that he was the first to show up, so, with a heavy sigh, he made his plate, and took a seat at the only table that still had chairs with it.
Maybe none of them will come, he hoped, and then I won't have to-
He heard the ding of an elevator.
Damn.don't let it fool you
don't let it pull you down
