Light escapes as Laurel leaves the room. My family has collapsed and now each piece is making an entrance. There is only left to come through that door, the foundation to it all. A man with the strings on each of his fingers, a man whose empire is ruins around him but I bet he is blind to it all. I have seen the walls crumbling around me, a defined crack made it place as soon as Jenoah’s cannon sound.

Delusional because of his gifts and promises, my father’s twisted operations made me stay put. His solidarity forced me to keep my mouth shut.
